@Chris Stanford - yeah I think thats the case - as it takes extensive training combined with being an absurd genius to ever posess all 5 chakra natures - the sharingan certainly makes it easier to see the hand signs being formed & gives the uchicha the ability to more precisely assess how a jutsu is formed so that they could possibly learn it/ add it to there own arsenal of jutsu but it’s not some hax where it just instantly allows you to use another ninjas jitsu disregarding difficulty or obtain a chakra nature that they you weren’t previously able to use - Kakashi is ultimately able to reach the heights of obtaining all 5 chakra natures & Copying over a thousand jitsu because of his sharingan but it wouldn’t have been nearly as possible if he wasn’t already a genius ninja with insane intellect so as Vall said the sharingan just allowed him to maximize his inherent abilities

That would not make sense because in that way the Uchiha clan would have had multiple copy ninjas, but the only famous copy ninja even before the annihilation of the Uchiha was Kakashi. In fact, Kakashi is one of the few ninjas that has all 5 chakra natures (plus yin & yang releases), and that talent made him maximize the potential of the Sharingan.

The Sharingan have the ability to copy any jutsu regardless of which chakra nature said jutsu uses (Earth, Wind, Water, Fire or Lightning), which makes it extremely OP cause only few ninjas without it can learn all 5 (Hiruzen mastered all 5). The Rasengan however doesn't use any chakra nature, it's just a ball of chakra you make with your hands. So realistically anybody could learn the Rasengan with enough effort.

I will forever be disappointed in whoever wrote the English subtitles for Naruto, seriously don’t know why the word choice/dialogue can be so lackluster & plain at times. They get better overtime & they’re not necessarily bad at all but I wish they could just be entirely redone- especially for these earlier episodes.

No we love code geass, I posted a comment there but we are going on vacations next week and filmed as much in advance as possible and with code geass being a patreon exclusive show and not having a YouTube timeline we just weren't able to squeeze it in. We absolutely love code geass though and can't wait to get back to it when we get back

I feel like there is misconception about Rock Lee and chakra. Many reactors seem to think that he doesn't have chakra, but its "Ninjutsu" that he has no skill in. He definitely has chakra, hence when releasing the "chakra gates" in his body he is able to power up for a bit with risks to his body. Easy way to think about this, is simply think of them as "techniques" for "Taijutsu (Hand-to-Hand)", "Ninjutsu (usually like shooting out fire ball), and "Genjutsu (illusions)". Rock lee specializes in "Taijustu", while still using chakra.
