It takes some suspending disbelief because realistically, teleporting just wouldn't work. If you move yourself somewhere, what happens to the matter that was where you teleported? The atmosphere in that human shaped space has to go somewhere, and its gotta go there instantly. This would create a very large explosion and kill you basically instantly lmao. In the same vein, wherever you teleported away from is now a pure vacuum, which will collapses violently and explosively. Most series reasonably just handwave that stuff.

Whilst I wait for peak to drop, and considering the comments already describe well enough how I feel about the animation and this episode... I love how this show(and others) condition you through sound, like when Shigeo's percentage increases. In this episode, we hear the sound, screen cuts to black, and the audience can immediately assume that Mob's emotions are at work.

I think it was really cool how they did the Mogami reappearance, he was clearly influenced by mob after their fight and respects him on a deeper level even if his ideals are very different. He probably left so he can observe the world and mob and see what happens, his character isn't just pure evil, he thinks logically and follows his characterization from a writing standpoint, so he's in no hurry to try and rematch mob again, he's got time if he ever decides to do that, but for now he's just intrigued by him

The animation is really good on this show. The battles are epic! It's interesting to see these past Claw espers now on the good side. The teleporation guy didn't even want to battle Mob. I wanted to see them battle. I'm excited for tomorrow's episode

The anime deadline comment is a crazy pull actually. Each season of Mob had 3 years of production between seasons, which in return gave us this masterpiece of a show.

this is honestly my favorite fight in all anime. i love how well they portrayed teleporting powers, they really showed how op it is. the scene where he teleports while bashing hanazawa's head on different surfaces was super cool. animation in mob is on a whole new level. i like this type of smooth animation more than beautifully detailed one

I don't think I've ever seen a joke pay off as well as Reigen's "Self Defense Rush". It was peak comedy, when they were hyping up potentially the most insane fight in the series yet. Just aboslutely master-class writing.

Always liked how Suzuki (Sho's dad) traveling the world to see if world domination was possible contrasts Season 1 where Reigen was making fun of the Claw members for thinking world domination was possible when they've never seen the world. Love the way this show is always able to bring back small details and big ones to light in an interesting way.

glad to see Brig come around on the solo leveling take so clean and respectfully, that's real gentleman behavior. Hopefully people didn't give him too much crap for that take cause solo leveling is still super damn good, but i think mob has a special place in a lot of people's hearts cus of that extra depth. and it also did a ton for the anime industry in its time too!

Teleportation is my favorite power. I know it's pretty basic and not necessarily unique, but when it's done right, it’s one of the coolest things ever. And they did a great job at portraying it with Shimazaki. One of my favorite fights of all time, the camera work alone made it incredible. I also loved the speed of the fight as well, it was so fluid and had so much happening, but yet it never felt overwhelming. The whole thing was just perfect in my opinion.

To add just a few more: Otsuka Akio who voices Dimple here, is also Torkell from Vinland Saga, he also does a character in Solo Leveling, he is the tank guy that can grow big. Reigen's voice is by Takahiro Sakurai, who also voices Giyuu from Demon Slayer, Suguru Geto, Suzaku from Code Geass and many more, the guy is pretty famous. Another one the Geks have heard before is Teru's VA Yoshitsugu Matsuoka who also voices Inosuke from Demon Slayer and Mechamaru from JJK.

Here's a few of the VA's and roles they've had in other anime you've watched since you were asking about Sasuke's VA: Yes, the blind teleporter, Shimizaki, is Sasuke's VA, Sugiyama Noriaki. He'll also be voicing a character in One Piece you haven't met yet. That's not the only Naruto VA in Mob Psycho, though. Sho's father, Suzuki, is voiced by Kakashi's VA, Inoue Kazuhiko. He also voiced Willy Tybur in AoT and Upper Moon One in Demon Slayer. Koyama (the dude with the Telekinetic Helix move) is played by Miki Shinichiro. He's Snek from One Punch Man, Tanjiro's dad from Demon Slayer, an upcoming character in One Piece, and an OG from Pokemon including Squirtle, all the Charmander evolutions and James among many others. Finally, Hosoya Yoshimasa voices two characters in Mob Psycho, Onigawara and the plastic sword user Sakurai. You probably know him better as Reiner Braun, though. This is just a few that I looked up, but the more you watch the more you start to recognize voices!

Excited for the next few and to get into season 3, my fave season. Mob is my favourite anime character of all time, as someone with Borderline personality disorder and is constantly battling with 100% emotions, I really relate to Mob and just love him so much. He's one of my many anime sons 🤣 Such a deep meaningful anime which is not expected at all
