Yeah that’s true in this case since it’s not more episodes. I just definitely remember on some older post (dont remember when/which), there was a discussion about exactly this, either an extra drop, or an earlier one or something, and i believe either cannon or carter commented something along the lines of “we try to do extra stuff but its feels like its never enough” (dont quote me on it), hence my comment on this topic. I completely agree. In this case, we’re not asking for more episodes, just for them to release two of them a bit earlier if possible. We wouldn’t even be discussing this if Brig ( the legend himself ) hadn’t gotten our hopes up. It’s not like those two episodes are insignificant or unrelated to this batch—they’re actually some of the most anticipated episodes for fans of the show. Also, I haven’t seen anyone being ungrateful when they released more episodes, at least not in the Naruto batches. Of course, if this decision would create unnecessary work for Carter due to editing, then they don’t need to do it. Whatever they decide will be appreciated. PS. Itachi is my favourite so I'm a little bit biased but ever since they started Naruto I've been looking forward to exactly those episodes 😭

I think they thoroughly enjoyed the Jiraiya vs Pain fight & they were certainly invested in this batch of episodes. This fight sequence isn’t anything extraordinary so it’s not surprising that the geks weren’t at the absolute edge of there seats. It’s the next couple of episodes that tie up this saga really well anyway. I think there is plenty of content left in the show that will excite them.

As for Carter, I don’t think he was being negative—this show just doesn’t resonate with him the way it does with others. His reaction was the same as in all the previous episodes. I don’t see anything new here; they’ve been pretty consistent with their reactions. So I don't understand how can you be "disappointed" in a reaction 😕

Its my honest opinion that Itachi couldn't have dodged everything WE KNOW he is SICK and BLIND. Obviously he was holding back, but there are some true moments of shock. If he doesn't instantly end it with one of his Mangekyo abilities then Sasuke is actually a match for him physically and with regular ninjutsu given how much Itachi is suffering. Like Kirin would have clapped him no matter what if he didn't have the susanoo

The reason they don’t remove the recap from old anime that came before streaming is because they would have to reanimate the show. It is much easier to take the existing anime and put it up. If they just edited out the recap it could mess up the flow and I also don’t know how easy it is to edit animation. I just know that I have been told it’s easier to reanimate than edit.

Killing Orochimaru in his weakness was to be expected because if he didn’t Orochimaru would have taken sasuke body Orochimaru was idiot for not seeing that coming and for Deidara he was being cornered so he chose to commit suicide as a last resort finally itachi didn’t really want to kill his brother but that didn’t mean he didn’t take any damage from the fight

I definitely understood Eren. He did it BOTH for his loved ones and for himself. He is one of my favourite characters in all of anime so please stop assuming that I don't understand him. If you think he only did it for himself you literally ignore a huge part of his motivation and character. Plus, this is a popular comparison everyone is making. watched the second half of shipudden in sub my first watch through so I got a taste of both worlds & was indifferent about either one but on this rewatch I really think dub is the superior option for watching Naruto . these episodes are still great & the voice acting in Japanese is fine but some of these moments dont hit as hard when you put them against there dub counterparts - the word choice & phrases in sub can be so dull at times - whatever Japanese intern was writing the script might have been just trying to clock out early

You guys already watched the next episodes so I should be okay with saying this. Itachi could have packed Hebi Sasuke up at the start. He could have whipped out Susano'o and low diffed him but he had to make it look believable. Itachi is low/medium Hokage level; he took Orochimaru out with ease.
