Just FYI they DID show why AFO's face looks like that it was censored but we saw all might basically sitting on top of him as he punched his skull in, making the top half of his skull mushy. I think it got briefly shown twice now and definetly once. It prolly "healed" into tons of scars and dead flesh and thats why it looks like that!

Well deku in Japanese means wooden doll/puppet but colloquially means someone useless/someone who can’t do anything. But because of ochaco saying it sounds like it can come from the verb ‘dekiru’(to be able to do something) that’s the pain midoriya is taking on it.

I love how you guys are so lost about how Izuku and Katsuku's conversation will play out. I can't wait to see the next episodes. What happens next really uprooted the typical rivalry relationship that many shounen like to portray in my eyes. It really cemented my love for MHA. If there's one thing that MHA does well, it's definitely the development of the relationship btw Izuku and Katsuki, and how that affects the story's events. Despite Izuku being the focal point and MC of the series, Katsuki takes a large chunk of the spotlight as well, and he can almost be counted as the deuteragonist in MHA. I can't wait for the next drop. Y'all are not ready and neither am I to see it again

I heard you guys wondering about the meaning of "Deku", and I thought I would share a little nuance to the term that a lot of people are unaware: There's no perfect 1:1 english translation for "Deku", which is why you'll see people giving different answers, but IMO the translation that best sums it up in this show's context is "Tryhard". It explains how Bakugo uses it as an insult, like "someone that must tryhard, cause they suck", while Uraraka uses it as an compliment (someone that puts in a lot of effort).

It is pretty sad that All Might can't use his power anymore, but Im glad he's able to be there for Deku. That was crazy with the Camie reveal. I think it's because we dont know her character that we didn't see anything odd. But, it makes sense now. I was also right with my prediction on that girls powers. Makes sense how she was able to turn into Uruaka since she got her blood last time. Its dangerous that she has Deku's blood now. Im curious to see if Deku and Bakugo are really going to fight and what the outcome will be. I like Bakugo but I feel like he needs to get over himself and chill out.

I understand how Cannon feels about All Might decline, but I like seeing that side of heroism, not like Marvel's Thor, where it's basically "haha he is depressed an fat (actually not funny)" and where he gets back in shape and it's all good. I think All Might just straight up destroyed the top half of All for One's face in a rare bit of bloodlust, and AfO wasn't prepared in the moment to fully restore himself so his face is all mangled. I read an op-ed a long time ago about the implied nature of the fight between All for One and All Might. Wish I could find it again, feel like it had some good points.

@38:13 Cannon "They've gotta be the weirdest friends I've ever seen" To me they were just childhood friends when they were little kids. The only reason I can see is because of their moms. They live close to each other and their moms probably know each other and get the kids to be in play dates which is something Japanese moms sometimes do to help their kids grow well socially. Bakugo's mom, probably forced Bakugo to continue to include the soft too nice of a kid, Deku in his play group, to help out Deku's mom.

Shoto and the wind guy are first years. They just went through a different test than Deku because they got recommendations for UA instead of going through the normal application process. 😂 Attempt #3 at trying to explain that Shoto does need support items (babies) just like everyone else. Yes, he can heat/cool himself, but it eats up his stamina and once he hits that physical limit, he’s done. Most of his costume helps regulate his temperature back to normal so he doesn’t have to waste as much energy doing it himself, like the thing on his back will absorb his body heat/cold, convert it to air and release through the vents
