Yeah and she spent most of her life in captivity. So from her perspective she's gone from one prison to another. This one is obviously a major improvement but she still doesn't have any agency. Keeping her isolated was never going to work long term. She's too traumatized. Plus any teenager would go a bit crazy after a year in a cabin in the woods 😂

She was being a brat, but he does have to understand her life and how she’s not a normal child to raise. All of her emotions are going to be 100 times worse. But if Elle wants to be normal she does have to learn to deal with responsibility and consequences. In the end hopper had a reason to be upset but he cant string her along he has to make progress.
