Ur right on the description but I would say it's an L situation judgement from Maximus. If Thadius was a dishonest or cunning person he would by default act the way Maximus was expecting. An honest person wouldn't jump on ur team 5 secs after revealing all that.

Interested to see how your guys theories evolve after seeing vault 4. Its kinda great having everyone on the couch know nothing about the world, just like Lucy. Most of the people at home watching this show can kinda guess how things might go since they are familiar with fallout / vault-tec which makes the subtle hints more noticeable. So its cool to see that your guys perspective lines up more with Lucy, learning right along side her.

Bro, the vaults in the games were always interesting as well. A lot of them did not turn out well. Vault 68 and 69 always scared me most. One was a vault of 1 woman and 999 males. The other was 1 male and 999 women. Or vault 11, where they were forced to eliminate a single person every year.

The next episodes can not come sooner. Vault lore is so much fun. Maximus panics.. a lot. With Thaddeus, I think he didn't get the reaction he was looking for that would show he would be safe letting Thaddeus know it was him in the suit and that Titus was dead, but he didn't get it so he panicked and decided Thaddeus had to go for his own safety. I will say that Maximus grew on me after awhile. And I know you don't have context for anything regarding the games but I just wanted to say that 'Battle Hymn of the Republic' playing there is not a random song choice.

This show is the best video game adaptation I have seen. I appreciate the willingness to possibly alienate some watchers with what appear to be illogical scenes or inside easter eggs in order to actually truly deliver an adaptation that honors its source material. It doesn't mean its the best show based on video game source material, that honor is definitely Arcane, but it's one of those things where the showrunners heavily involved the Bethesda team and were really passionate about it, and it shows. It really nailed not just the storyline, but the look and feel of environments, the sounds, the way things are presented. One thing you all should talk about more, the music selection is PEAK.

The Studio Gek Maximus beef is well seasoned 😂 I don’t hate “hate” the character. He’s a child of war (and abused since then), what he went through made him understandably immature and distrustful. He had to grow up extremely fast and rely on himself for most of his life. Lucy is the opposite, she’s mature but incredibly naive. They complement each other very well. I think Maximus mostly just needs to grow out of the Brotherhood of Steel mindset and his fear of others. Spending time with Lucy inside a vault should really help his arc.

Fallout 3 is def the worst of the big three, but it's not a bad game ig. I think they'd enjoy Fo4's gameplay, and they'd probably still like the story/world a lot because they wouldn't be comparing it to NV lol.

The games have a karma system. Each of the 3 main characters are written to represent the karma system Lucy= good karma The Ghoul = bad karma Maximus = neutral karma Definitely highly recommend you guys try the games after. I’d start with Fallout 3 as it really gives you a great idea of how the vaults work

All Maximus had to do was tell people Titus got killed by the bear, he didn't want to leave the armor and wanted to complete the mission. It would be perfectly believable given the circumstances.

A Fallout 76 stream could be fun. I've heard it's much better than it used to be, and y'all could play together. I think you should play Fo4 or NV though for a better singleplayer experience.
