Definitely getting more into this anime now. I think maybe what initially turned me off was that I was afraid they were living in the trash. Really liked the world building and fight scenes. To answer carter's questions at the end. The manga is currently on chapter 158, but it doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. This season will likely end around chapter 85. Season 1 has been great so far and with the end of my hero this could become bones main IP. I hope they make a second season because it will cover my favorite arc.

Rudo should’ve been wearing his mask, but at least they aren’t in No Man’s Land here lol. From what I remember, the masks are mainly for heavier pollution and trash-beast fumes. So it’s safer to have one on, it’s just not an instantly lethal area. That’s maybe why he isn’t being affected right away.

I’m glad Rudo isn’t mastering his abilities right away. I do like a overpowered mc sometimes just not when they get there instantly lol. His power is clearly different, so I like seeing him gradually figure it out more and more. I also liked that this episode showed him struggling and doubting himself. The setbacks make the growth feel more earned and human.
