now i understand why the writers said it would be a sad christmas :( … they fumbled the writing, mishandled several main characters, and the way they treated Will’s storyline was lowkey homophobic :D for a show that once centered its message on sheltering and empowering outcasts, this is a bigger plot twist than anything they tried to pull

It's definitely not my favorite season. I don't hate it, but it's no where near season 1, 2, and 4 for me. I don't love the constant main character plot armor. This obviously isn't a show that wants to kill off mains (which is fine btw, killing characters doesn't always make a show better) but make them surviving more realistic. If bullets can't take down a demodog, Lucas kicking in the face surely wouldn't lol. It just lowers the stakes and suspense because you know nothing bad will happen.

tbh I might wait a few days to watch your reactions! but let's just say I'm disappointed in vol 2. there were some moments I really liked but overall it was very lackluster. my sister just finished it and she didn't like any episode...
