its a very tranquil show, very peaceful, the writing is very sweet. I feel like its going against the archetype of a story having a central conflict that drives the story. most stories are built on the conflict but so far this story is rejecting that archetype. its like jack says, I’m not sure we will see a central conflict play out. but I’m excited to see where it goes either way, especially since its so highly rated

Its so interesting to see how Frieren recognizes that she wishes she would have taken more time to get to know the people she traveled with. I like how she does remember things about Himmel and searches for the flower to plant at his statue. We can also see Fern's frustration at doing menial things and spending long stretches of time. I like that Frieren recognizes it, but she still isn't in much of a rush because for her a few months or years is merely a few moments to her. I'm excited for the episode 3 reaction

Rewatching i just realised the show passes time almost the way Frieren as an elf does. Magic is not just as simple as casting a spell in the world of Frieren it holds different meaning for different individuals and i love that.
