Besides "e pluribus unum," the only Latin I know is "audentes fortuna iuvat" (fortune favors the bold). It's actually insane that none of the other Geks knew about our original motto, and also weren't aware that it was on all of our coins and the one-dollar bill. In the 1950s, the US official motto was changed to "In God We Trust," likely to contrast the US to the Soviet Union (which promoted atheism). The original is much better in my opinion, as it relates more to the country and its history.
