It’s because it was never about kakashi killing rin, if it was then obito would’ve just killed him right there. Obito went bad bc he couldn’t cope at all with the loss, combined with madaras manipulation and obito living secluded for years, which lead him to accept and agree with the escapism of the infinite tsukuyomi.

Every time I see Obito and Kakashi together it makes me depressed. There’s so much pain so many shared memories and grief. And that DIALOGUE of them it’s such a POWERFUL SCENE in the manga. And all his motivation is kinda makes sense to me cause the shinobi system is so fucked up and hypocritical, and bc of Obitios kind nature and his priorities valuing friends and family ABOVE all else he couldn’t accept RINS death. Cause she died for the sake of the very laws and system that went against everything he believed in. The same applies to Itachi and countless other Rins and itachis literally children who lost their lives in the wars and solving adults problems. To him RIN who DIED for the sake of that fucked up system is a FAKE RIN, and so is KAKASHI. In his eyes a world that allows things like that to happen DOESN’T DESERVE to be called a TRUE world. I also keep thinking about THE HELL he has gone through when RIN died so his true self got twisted and everything he endured over the years. He genuinely believes that what he is doing is right and aligns with his values, yet his twisted actions and goals are heartbreaking. It feels like Obito is telling all of this to Kakashi just to convince himself that his plan is right and he does it through Kakashi. I’m in pain

@Studio Gek Some info for how much is left in the series ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! There are only 128 episode left of Naruto Shippuden :( About 47 episodes are manga canon/mixed filler episode, and the rest are pure filler slop. And about 23 episodes are from novels (ep 452-457 & 484-500) It says it's canon on the filler list, but it's NOT CANON, but DEFINITELY watch episode 500, its peak. Its not canon because the novels were not written by the mangaka Kishimoto, they are just based on the Naruto story. So its basically filler (not in the manga).

To Cannon - the same night that Hiruzen said that, Danzo had that conversation with itachi and threatened to kill Sasuke also if a war broke out between the Uchiha and the village. That's when Danzo told Itachi that the only way to save Sasuke was to do it himself. And i think the next day it literally happened. That's why the 3rd never got the chance to talk

I don't know if you guys really noticed but Orochimaru pretty much has an immortal body now after he took over one of the white zetsu which is pretty much made up of Hashirama's cells. Also, Cannon the only reason why Kushina survived for a bit when the 9tails was taken out of her was because she was Uzamaki clan which they are know to have enormous amounts of chakra and a very strong life force. Mito the first hokages wife was also an Uzamaki as well.

I don’t know if you remember the scene where Obito and Deidara captured the Three tails. Brig and Mickay just showed you that canon part of a filler arc. Obito was lying on top of the Three tails, and while Deidara was talking, he was unusually quiet — like he was sad or deep in thought. Now you know the reason: that beast was what led to Rin sacrificing herself, and it was once a part of her so you have an idea what he was feeling behind that mask 🥹

The biggest what if in Naruto history is what if Rin never died. It created all major events in the show. Without it Obito would go back to village and there won't be anyone to manipulate Nagato and Akatsuki, so there won't be Akatsuki, there would be no one to execute Madara's plan, there would be no nine tails attack and Minato and Kushina would survive, Uchiha wouldn't be in that position since no one would accuse them of nine tails attack and Itachi would never become double agent so Uchiha clan wouldn't be wiped out, Sasuke wouldn't became a rogue ninja and basically that means that Naruto would have no plot 😂

Minato being Naruto's dad was no longer a kept secret at the beginning of the Five Kage Summit arc. Kakashi brought up the fact that Minato was his dad after Naruto let himself get beat up to a pulp by the Cloud ninja. Yamato and Sai were in the room with them, it wouldn't be shocking for Sakura and the rest of his friends to learn that fact. I think Sakura was more shocked to see the back of a ninja appear in front of her with the word "Fourth" written on his back because all the reanimated people (except for Madara) were defeated.

The "Team 7 is finally back!" WAS SOOO GOOD Jeez that last episode was peak. I really did miss this show, I'm loving the rewatch. I'm excited for the next week, this part was one of my favorite parts in the arc and show. When Sasuke said "I will....become Hokage" I LAUGHED OUT LOUD😭😭 Like Ohhhhh brotherrrrr please, there's a line. The show is called "Naruto" not "Sasuke" buddy. 56:30 You can take out the tailed beast out of the jinchuriki, but it would kill the jinchuriki. The only way Rin could have survived this is if Kakashi was a specialist in sealing jutsu and somehow undid the the jutsu that would unseal the tailed beast inside her before she reached the Hidden Leaf Village or whenever the Mist ninja suspected that they were undoing the jutsu.

The anime includes 15 anime canon episodes afterwards (they're adaptions of the canon light novels (actual novels with hardly any artwork)). There's also a few Itachi's Story episodes that count as mixed canon/filler.

No one knew Naruto was Minato’s kid except lord third and kakashi, and the random dudes that were there when Minato and Kushina died. Tbf Sakura’s reaction wasn’t very good, but she didn’t know off screen unless there was some filler episode that she finds out. The other friends didn’t hear lord 4th when he arrived say “his son.” They just weren’t close enough. They all find out later though iirc. You guys aren’t even prepared for what happens later lol you could never guess where it goes from here, and that’s part of the fun.

To be fair, they are probably a little numb, Neji just died like 5-10 minutes ago. Multiple near death experiences. Ino and Shikamaru's dad just died. And also, Kakashi would have given a more appropriate response, but he just dipped. To top it off, Sakura just isn't Naruto's girl, we all know who that is. I do agree they should have shown leaf ninja in awe in the background, but they all have the new headband on and not the Konoha one, anyway. A minor missed opportunity. But we got the Kakashi/Rin backstory, Madara/Hashirama wrap up, Sasuke's decision, 4th and Naruto reunion. We are honestly eating pretty nicely. Kishimoto is juggling 1000 things atm, it's a one man show over here and the manga is even better. Cut a little slack.

Well in the manga, I think Sakura couldn't tell who it was that landed due to the dust or whatever so she didn't give much of a reaction. But even after realizing it's the 4th, she still didn't have a crazy reaction other than being worried that he was reanimated and could be a potential threat. None of Naruto's friends knew beforehand, including Sakura. It was simply a massive fumble, especially considering how insane of a revelation it is. Also everyone else only realized what was happening after all 4 hokage appeared and gave them the glazing special.
