That's a good point! When they were airing, Naruto and bleach got way more hype in the international community. One piece was kind of unknown in comparison. I think the hype in the international community only really popped off in the last 6 years

Im a big fan of the big 3 (maybe bleach the least). Personal opinion: Naruto and bleach started off super strong, but OP just got better and better for me. In fact a lot of my personal 'weaknesses' with early OP seem to be good choices (in hindsight) with regards to long term storytelling. I think what makes great short-form vs long-form media is quite different. All the big 3 have their pros and cons (i dont think its good to share too much and affect your expectations)-- im just glad u guys are watching more anime and am excited to learn ur takes over time!

Before we start the post time skip, you guys should do a video of predictions/theories, watch OPs and EDs, cover stories, list favorites characters, rewatch the best moments of pretimeskip, watch episode 0, etc. It would be so fun!!! And it will be a nice lil break before we continue on with our adventure 😁 It would also be cool if we can comment our favorite edits from pretimeskip and have the boys react to them and rank. Ofc have Jack approve of them to make sure no spoilers and hope no one deliberately does that. Such great content for all of next week 🤭 I also saw some recommendations for movies such as Baron Omatsuri or Strong World

Honestly, before heading to post time skip it would be cool if we got like a video about op, idk just thoughts in generals, predicitions, theories, listening to some OPs and EDs, cover stories, fav characters etc. (as others have said as well). I think it would be neat! It doesn't have to be that long but I think it's a milestone worthy to be celebrated, even if just a little :)

I Loved Bleach when i first watched it, but it's something i think of as mediocre now. It can be very boring to watch at times, lots of filler arcs.. (Im looking at you Bount arc). One piece on the other hand has far more character depth and complexities, backstories and adventure, which i prefer much more.

You guys are noticing the redone animation in the flashbacks, and that is actually from a 2 hour recap movie/OVA of the first 50 episodes hyper condensed, called Episode of East Blue. If you ever want to relive the start to One Piece that's a fantastic way to do it. It also shows a piece of Luffy backstory that was actually cut from the original first episode of the anime that you guys would probably be interested in. Don't want to spoil what it is though in case you'd rather be surprised
