This is one of my favourite episodes of the show fs! I agree with McKay, it’s such a well-written backstory. They keep it simple but so real. Obviously disappointing he’s still out of it and him getting back up was a hallucination, that would’ve been sick, but I’m also glad they didn’t do a typical power-up cliché. Makes the stakes feel higher.

Lmao Zanka got expedited ego death when Hyo entered the picture. Jabber is such a fun villain, absolutely bonkers. Also, pretty sure one of the hands is from that raider who could make mud puppets Zanka fought earlier in the season. Perhaps this was her punishment for failing.

So I have a theory about Jabber. I am wondering if he may not be able to feel true emotion, but the one thing he can feel is pain. Since feeling pain is better than feeling nothing at all, he becomes a masochists. Additionally, when he goes and lays down next to Zonka laughing it seems like Jabber is mimicking the way Zonka’s laughing in an attempt to feel as good/have as much fun a Zonka is appearing to have. Food for thought.
