Some of these commenters are crazy lol, I love One Piece more than anything but there are episodes, characters, and even whole arcs I can't stand. Wow people understand perronas inclusion actually improves on the character dynamic, contextualizes the dialogue to flow more seamlessly and makes it more impactful. Having the two most monotone characters of one piece struggle to interact with back n forth dead pan one liners would've become boring quickly and actully gotten too corny in a mismatch kind of way even for one piece. Imagine the first scene without her. Zoro: "I'm leaving." Mihawk: "Take my boat, it's over there." Zoro: "Hmph." Mihawk: "You'll die." Zoro: *grunts* "I won't." ~Overtaken OST kicks in~ And immediately cuts to Zoro being swung at by monke

I honestly think buddy just doesn't like one piece. Getting upset about seeing the crew after like two arcs without them (barring the two episodes) is just crazy. Hating on Usopp and Perona being on screen for like a short while also. I guess he just wants the series to have one tone and that's super serious/aura farming. Genuinely I understand some characters get grating with pacing but if you can't stand Usopp or characters like perona gettign any screen time, you dont like a pretty important point of onepiece. it has always been a comedy, it has never been 100% serious and characters like that keep the tone through these very serious and dark events.

BUT I do like that with each Straw Hat side story here, we get to see a more and more clear picture of what Luffy actually did, going from just a "HUH?!" from Chopper, to outright seeing the newspaper page in Sanji's segment (albeit not from up close)
