There's so much going on here (so much pretty ichor all over the floor and Sulvain's clothes, and now on Raziol's cheek as well!!, Sulvain SPEAKING in front of Raziol, begging him to stay, hugging him so he doesn't move away), and yet all I can see is Raziol's utterly stricken face on that third panel 🥺

Him staring at the pool of blood could also be fighting with himself cause his hungry. Hargrave did have a point in the fact that he is new to this and his urge for blood must be taking a toll on him because he would not want to hurt anyone.

I keep coming back to this and rereading it....in the last panel, while Sulvain just wants to melt into Raziol's arms, all Raziol can do is stare down at the puddle of Sulvain's ichor. Which is EXACTLY what Sulvain went through at Versailles. Only he didn't know where Raz was. He was so desperate to collect some in case he had to find his soul.... 😭 Wow, the full circle of trauma and pain. 😭💔💔

Yay, an update, and as always, their expressions are spot on. My heart aches for them, but at least they are together again now and they are each relieved that the other is alive. It seems that they both have lots of questions for each other, but understand that those will have to wait. I don’t quite know why Sulvain wants to stay put though. I assumed that Raziol was going to have to carry him while staying out of sight of people to get back to Vivi’s house… which could have been interesting. I’m also wondering who is coming to help, since he didn’t exactly tell Vivi where he was going, just that he arranged a meeting place with Hargrave. Or did he somehow send a signal to her or someone else? (She’s pretty smart though… maybe she just figured it out or set up some kind of homing enchantment on that cape along with the shield charm.) I feel it would almost be easier to go to Death’s realm, get more of that magic healing ointment/sutures and take care of himself right then and there without having to move. Maybe space manticore will dig out of the bones and help somehow. I don’t know, but can’t wait to find out!

Poor Raziol looks so panicked, I see he was about to grab Sulvain and run. I know it is so difficult for him to not know what to do, seeing Sulvain bleeding out like that. And Sulvain just wants them to wait. I have anxiety like Raz so I would be itching to grab Sulvain and run, back to Vivi or somewhere. Doing something to help... But Sulvain just wants to rest with Raziol in his arms. Finally able to see him, to hold him, banishing all of the horrors and nightmares he has just lived through, thinking Raz was dead or dying. Does he know somehow that Vivi is coming? Did she enchant the cloak with another spell to call for help?

Sulvain is just so glad Raziol is with him he doesn't want to do anything other than hold him🥺 but he almost passed out already, I hope Vivi comes very very soon because now he might actually close his eyes for a minute and not wake up, and that would give Raz a panic attack if not worse

Although it isn't smart, it makes todal sense that Sul just wants Razoil near him in this moment, a few moments ago, he believed that Razoil was gone and dead - and he thought he would perhaps die as well. So much has happened- all he wants right now is his Boyfriend's embrace and warmth

The facial expressions are crushing me. Raziol looks terrified and frantic but Sulvain is more like, "Ah, you're here with me. That's the most important thing." It also took me a minute to realize that Sulvain is still talking. I'm so glad they're together again. I hope they both get plenty of rest!! ❤️

The atmosphere is so painfully stagnant and anxious, yet eerily calm and quiet. The sound of settling rubble. Echoing voices. The scent of mold, dust, and blood. The way they cling to one another as it may be their last chance, even after losing each other already. Melancholic welcome and imminent doom.
