although it’s not entirely confirmed, we can deduce that sulvain’s mom, if not his whole family, has already passed. her death was probably due to sickness, as it’s shown in the bonus comic that delves into sul’s past. here’s a page: https://www.patreon.com/posts/16005604?utm_campaign=postshare_fan she’s not magoi, and probably died before sulvain realized he’s one, so her passing must’ve been definitive.

Another beautiful page… I love everything about it from the urgency conveyed (hope they make it in time), Sesam’s wings, the grasshopper horse creatures, and Vivi reassuring and comforting her friend. I’m just surprised she didn’t bring the healing sutures/ointment to at least help a little. Did Sulvain tell her about Raziol? I also want to meet the embalmer, who I bet will be another interesting character. I’m kind of having flashbacks to The Princess Bride where Miracle Max is trying to bring Westley back with a giant chocolate pill and says that he’s only “mostly dead.” 😆 That's who I'm picturing this will be. A Miracle Max-like person, lol. 😅
