I think it more resembles an ancient sun disk. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nebra_sky_disc Then again, both were built for similar functions, to convey information in the longest-lived, most universal format that was understood at the time, so maybe the resemblance to both is a common thread.

Ooh, how interesting! Those Dendronian scholars sure had some interesting ways to keep secrets. It looks like it fits into something- like it has four screw holes in the corners- or it lines up with something else, like a map or something. The numbers are interesting as well. Now I have a ton more questions though… where did he manage to find this? What kinds of connections does he have? Where is Vivi if she is still alive, and what happened in the past to lead to this point and needing a decoder? I have some ideas based on the few scenes we saw at the end of the last chapter, but I really want to learn more.
