Time goes by really fast! But 8 years has really given Novae time to ripen into such a beautiful story with complex characters. The amount of work you have put into it is incredible, and the fact that you both are still excited to tell the story is just so awesome. As a comic artist i feel you on the impatience of showing what you have developed to readers 😆😆 I've said it before and I'll say it again, you've been a significant part of my late teenhood. You were part of my university days and now my work days. You were also part of the journey from me moving to a safer, more queer-friendly country as a trans person. Novae opened so many doors and possibilities to me, that in the sea of toxic historical romance media, there were people like us who live very human, beautiful lives. You and the characters are really good role models. It’s always so lovely to hear the enthusiasm you both have for Novae! I think a lot of us can relate to having writing partners when we were younger (I used to write Harry Potter fanfiction with my best friend by passing a notebook back and forth between classes in middle school) but to get to have that relationship for so long, supporting each other while you shape the foundations of a whole new world—so, so special. And the way you write means so much spontaneity and sincerity comes through with these characters. They feel totally inhabited—having real conversations instead of just saying what they need to to drive the plot.
