I bet he's shy because of several reasons. If anyone touches him they would be as surprised as Raziol was touching his cold skin. Usually social settings involve food and drinks and either he never participates (which raises suspicion) or I assume he would have to....um.... Get rid of his stomach contents later (I apologize, I am trying to be so respectful of people struggling with an ED, I just don't know how else to say it). Also, does he still sleep like the literal dead, no heartbeat or breath? If he stays overnight somewhere, that would freak someone out to find him "sleeping". All of that would keep me on edge when meeting new people as well. 😔

Carmine Clemente was there in the 70s. He was pretty famous for being very interactive with students and made big contributions to neuroscience. He'd have been right up Sulvain's alley. There were also some significant astronomy professors at that time, too, like George Abell and Peter Goldreich. (I had to Google to remember these, there's probably more famous names that I've forgotten. I only knew about Abell because my college astronomy professor was one of his students, lol)

Oh man, I’ve been so jet lagged I’ve missed commenting. I love Mar! I love this revelation that so far she doesn’t seem to have any magical aptitude. There’s something so childishly endearing about her being determined that it’ll happen at some point—I wonder if someone in her family is a Magoi… Her and Sherwin are so great so far. Such good characters. They both make great counterpoints to Sulvain in the way they’re just so YOUNG! Raz was the same way in the 1600s with his self-consciousness. It’s a slick way to reinforce Sulvain’s maturity, even though he has the brain and body of a 22 year old.

Awww, Sulvain. Ngl it is both cute but also sad to see him so hesitant to socialize. I mean, it'd be one thing if he's just a little shy but he has so much going on that'd make it harder for him to really feel included. 🥺 On a lighter note, I love to see his current friends!
