Maybe he will play it off like she's crazy... 😅😳 I just love how he's casually playing with his necromancer pin. Like it could drain and almost kill anyone else and he's just like, "I need a fidget toy, this party is stressful"

The more I think about this… how would Sulvain prove he’s a necromancer to Mar? 😭 like he cannot just start raising the dead, unless he maybe has a human skeleton stashed in his van for this very purpose? Lol. Mar probably thinks Sulvain is a “necromancer” just like other people think they have “telekinesis” because they can move a piece of tin foil around on their kitchen table (a very niche and very amusing corner of the internet, I have found)

Ooooohhhhh yes I’m getting the sense Mar is confusing occult interest (academic) with occult knowledge (practical)! I’m intrigued by the new dynamics of being Magoi in a more contemporary era—at a gathering like this you might expect that you’re meeting fellow magoi and Morgana (and at least one other person here is, we think), but ALSO this is an era where neo-paganism and magic enter the pop culture consciousness in a big way—so you might find yourself at a “magic” gathering with no actual people who believe it exists, let alone practice it. Fascinating! Sulvain should develop a secret “shhhh” signal.
