My theory: He necromances his own body with his powers, I assume it's not enough of a power drain to use like "active power" where his eyes glow. His heart beating is an extra power drain, and since he said his body reacts to emotions without his control, perhaps his anxiety/panic attack is drawing much more power than normal? It's a fight or flight response so maybe it's similar to us having an adrenaline rush in those moments?

I don’t think there’s going to be any resentment simply because they had discussed this before and Raz was the one that had to run away to make sure he doesn’t hurt anyone. I feel like whats more likely to happen is that they keep missing each other or that Raz keeps avoiding Sulvain out of fear that he might hurt him seeing as last time they were together Raz couldn’t control himself and kept sucking Sulvains blood

I agree, I have a bad feeling they won't meet tonight, esp since the art for this chapter is them passing by one another on the library stairs, not ACTUALLY together. 😩 I worry about the trauma and changes both have endured. Their relationship wasn't that long, compared to how long they have lived. And Raziol might have some resentment over being kept in the dark about Sulvain's true self and real powers. And Vivi seemingly abandoned him....ugh so many unknowns.

Maybe it's the depressed cynic in me but I'm thinking this reunion may be more stressful than I hope it's going to be. 😅 This comic is helping me learn how to be optimistic LOL. I'm REALLY hoping I'm wrong and their reunion isn't as bumpy as I think it will be because I know it's realistic in thinking that it certainly won't be smooth. They've been separated for so long and I'm sure they've grown and changed. That might take some adjusting to on both parts. For me, I've changed in as little as a year. Can you imagine how much change a person will go through in 200+ years??? You lost so many people, you go through changes in cultures and society, fashion changes, languages changes, so many cultural movements are happening, such as civil rights, women's rights and...just plain HUMAN rights movements.
