Great point Alys! I assume it would also depend on how long he has been speaking modern English. Obviously, he recognizes something in Sulvain's handwriting from the past (I can see my grandparent's handwriting as different from mine, and can spot handwriting from a European right away). I hope that one of them will be jarred enough by the other that SOMEone will open that damn door haha

So they're in the US, right? UCLA? I wonder because Raz is obviously speaking English... and I know it's been a long time and that some people just learn the sounds of new languages really well (I've certainly met a few French people who sound perfectly American when they speak English, but they also had been learning since they were kids)... all this is to say, does Raz have an accent?
