I hope they were able to be at least friends after that. 😞 The idea that Raziol had no one to confide in is so heartbreaking. I hope he’s had at least someone in his life he allowed himself to be close and honest to. Raziol looked so sad during the pool scene that I am thinking he either has had no one, or he had a few people (Sulvain included) and lost them all because he outlived them (or he thinks he outlived them, as in Sulvain’s case.)

I am wondering how the conversation about past (or even current) significant others is going to be like. Mind you, I doubt either of them have one right now, and Sulvain sort of confirmed he doesn’t, but we don’t know about what has happened to Raziol yet. For all we know, he could have also been married in the past like Sulvain was. It’s been 300 years, and Raziol needs contact, and it would honestly be very sad if Raziol didn’t have someone close to him for all those years.

So I have a theory. Did Raziol get some experience in medicine or caregiving in his 300 years since getting turned? Yes, he probably caught Sulvain because he has super strength, but he seems to know what he was doing too. He caught Sulvain with one of his legs. He’s asking all the correct questions and he almost seems like he’s in “emergency mode,” that mode you can sometimes get into when there’s an emergency and you instinctively put your own nerves aside to take charge of the situation. It could also be due to a lot of maturity as well, but that doesn’t always mean you’re calm in a situation.

I also already kinda see the dynamic shift? Raziol kneeling next to him, holding gently. Back then Sulvain was most of the time the one holding him, when Raziol was shaking or crying. Now he barely shows anything making sure Sulvain is okay 😭?
