I feel a sort of reverence seeing this moment - I want to see it, of course, as a Novae enthusiast, but at the same time, it almost feels like I’m intruding. It’s such an intimate moment between them that I feel like I shouldn’t be looking. I am, though- but to appease myself emotionally, i imagine myself - as a reader who is completely immersed and embedded in the story- glancing, from a distance, from the corner of my eye, in complete silence- as to not disturb the sanctity of the moment- probably blushing and crying too, almost holding my breath, rooting for both of the protagonists, while, once again, another Coldplay song plays in the background: 🎶 That green eyes🎶 You're the one that I wanted to find🎶💜💚💜

Maybe Sulvain spent this blur of a run thinking "maybe I did pass out and this is one of the weirder dreams I've had but I'm going to enjoy it while I can" and the sound of Raziol's voice has immediately brought him to tears with the realization that he really is still awake. And the brief fear/startle of 'waking' up from the snuggle. Oh sweetheart don't hide your feelings from him. Trust that he's still your Starboy, even if he has matured a bit.

This is so amazing and I'm continually impressed by your emotional sensitivity and POV work, KaiJu. It's definitely a shock from Raziol's POV, because he never really had an explanation of the hints Sulvain gave him that he was un-aging. However, from Sulvain's? He's spent literal centuries being the only one who lasts. He's already lost one of the loves of his life, as Brooke said. And Luc told him there was no way to survive the bite. Even though we saw Raziol afterward, there is no way for Sulvain to have known that it wouldn't kill him later. I think that's why Sulvain struggled so much when he thought he was seeing Raziol (glimpses someone he knows in his heart is dead/dies a little himself). Tears are absolutely what I'd expect in this situation!
