Dude I love all of your thoughts! I have several new fears unlocked now lol. Seriously though, I have wondered the same thing about Sherwin. Surely he would keep Raziol"s power a secret....I hope. He's kept Sulvain's power secret for who knows how long, and if Sherwin is not a Magoi, both Sulvain and Raziol could easily kill him., so that's a good in incentive to keep quiet, right? OMG the secrets again! I swear if Sulvain doesn't tell Raziol everything I'm going to reach through the screen and choke him. Having secrets nearly got him killed when he ran off to face Hargrave alone, and the fact that he might have lost Raziol for all those years because he was kept in the dark (for the most part) about Magoi and magic. If he had been included in the group like Cyrille and Elouan were they may not have been separated.

Wondering how Raziol and Sherwin will get along has been SUCH a huge source of anxiety for me. 😭 I could see it going many ways. So far, Sherwin DOES seem to have Sulvain’s wellbeing at heart. Maybe he’ll see the positive change in Sulvain now that he’s reunited with Raziol, and will be supportive of them? Also, will Sulvain even tell Sherwin who Raziol is?? I figured he’d be too excited to keep it to himself, at first, but the more I think about it, I doubt Sulvain would risk exposing Raziol’s secret… whatever the particulars of it are… that have caused him to be alive for 322 years. 😅 If Sulvain doesn’t tell Sherwin who Raziol is, will Sherwin get super protective, suspicious of who he is and why he knows so much about Sulvain/has such a hold on him? Sometimes he low-key kinda acts like Sulvain’s dad. Although I totally get that Sulvain doesn’t take care if of himself, kind of (unintentionally) causing other people to worry and nag. And as for the quest to find Vivi! I really hope Sulvain includes Raziol in it. Can you imagine if he tried to hide it, out of fear of involving him and putting him in danger again?? And if Raziol found out from someone else?? He might be really hurt, thinking Sulvain was planning to leave/abandon him. Or, if Sulvain DOESN’T hide it from him, would he even be willing to come with him? Didn’t they both *just* enroll in college? Hardly seems like the time to pack up and leave. Of course, they could always take a semester off. But 17th century Raziol would never have abandoned his studies to travel. I guess we’ll have to see if his priorities have changed. 🥲

Raziol pushing his hair back reminds me of how he used to wear it pulled back, then I wondered if Sulvain ever did anything different with his hair, then wondered if we would ever see him with longer hair....then realised he might not ever be able to grow it any more than it already is because he's technically dead. (And in typing this had the thought that if he never had any kind of keratin growth, his nails would be in very bad shape from centuries of wear and tear, so it may actually be possible for him to grow his hair out if he wanted)

And even if Raz was blaming himself, the abandonment trauma is hard to shake. Even if he knows it wasn't Sulvain's fault, not being able to find anyone in his circle at the time would have been terrifying and awful. Poor boy may have some really awful things bottled up. 😭

it still feels so surreal to have them both in a scene, close and interacting, out of danger. and it’s great, because i know i’m feeling how they’re both feeling, just in a much much minor scale. so i’m just gonna focus on raziol’s gorgeous hair. i love how you can feel it’s softness and movement (sulvain! caress that hair!)

I think 2 in this case. Sulvain has “seen” Raziol off and on for the last few hundred years (in his dreams, in strangers that look like him, or has actually seen him and didn’t believe it) so “touch” is more concrete. You can “see” someone without actually having them be there, but touching them means they’re actually with you. 😢

But can you imagine how incredibly scared our poor Raz must've been? Knowing Sul is out there, fighting whatever or whoever... being bitten by that beast himself, not knowing if he will make it. Then, when he DOES make it, not even trusting himself to stay in full control. Not ever knowing what happened to his lover, if he will ever be able to see him again 🥺 I hope that our star boy did not spend centuries blaming himself. Okay "never thought I'd touch you again" is a very specific thing to say. And to be honest it caught me off guard at first. I mean it's not what people say, isn't it? I agree. Raziol has probably dated or been involved with other people. It’s been hinted before that he generally experiences more romantic and sexual desire than Sulvain, who was reserved and reluctant to open himself up to people. And in Rings of Saturn, Raz definitely flirts with Tina too. But I’m sure they’ve stayed in each other’s hearts and minds, even after all this time.

I feel like at least Raziol definitely dated while they were apart. If the dream that Sulvain had at the ball was really a memory, then we saw how Raziol had become more forward with his affections toward others, and he possibly singled Sulvain out because, physically, he had the characteristics of the Sulvain he knew and wanted to get to know this new stranger. He even kissed him first. I feel like he might have tried to find affection in others during this time, even if the ones he fell for were like his true love who he thought was dead. Sulvain seems far more reserved, but he may have been open to having camaraderie with others while they were apart. I feel like he would occasionally look for Raziol in the wheat fields, even though he knew he didn’t really have a direct link anymore, to see if he was really dead or not. He may have been giving up hope, but I agree that we had reentered the story where he may have been turning a corner, had he not seen Raziol again. These are my thoughts, at least. I just can’t wait for these two to figure out that—if that really was a memory and not a dream—they could have been reunited CENTURIES ago. 🤦‍♀️😩

It's crazy how much of Raziol from Paris shines through in the one we see here. When he pushes his hair back, it hints how he used to look 300 years ago. And he's fighting back tears, which is just like him to do. The fact he can do that even while seeing Sulvain cry is different tho. My heart hurts for these two 💔

OMG Raziol... 😭😭 I'm so so glad they are talking. All the literal centuries of anguish.....I can't even imagine. The last thing Raziol said to Sulvain before yeeting himself out of the catacombs was that he would find Sulvain. Has he searched all these years? Did he give up? Sulvain was so so close to laying Raziol aside and moving on...so close. Sulvain has had Sherwin by his side, as a friend and helper for some time...did Raziol have a friend too? Or did either of them date anyone else?! OMG the questions keep coming ....😵
