Rereading this again, I just noticed the bloody footprints in the flashback of Kitty!! 😱 Remember the trail of blood leading away from where they found his cloak?? This must have been what he saw as he escaped from her after being bitten. 😔💔 What a scary sight to look back at in the wake of being attacked. He must have been terrified. 😭

Absiol seems to have gotten his abs from swimming, but I think I just figured out why Sulvain is so ripped too!! In one of the little bonus comics of him as a kid, his family was growing cabbages! He must have tended fields during his life!!! I know this has nothing to do with this page of the story, but I was SO excited to figure it out! 😭🙌🎉

I’ve actually been thinking back to early in the story, when Raziol was telling Sulvain about the Orion constellation. Sulvain imagined the lion in the constellation biting the hunter’s head off. Was it foreshadowing? A coincidence?? Will Kitty have her revenge arc??? 🥹✨

What if this Kitty panel is so ominous, but Raziol is not afraid of her because, for example, he learned about her and discovered that she was a victim herself too? Knowing her origin and that they kept her imprisonment. Maybe he isn't scared she is alive but hopefull she survived. I know the memory of her bite must been terrifying, but maybe he hopes to learn more if he could find her?

🥹🥺 when they'll calm down, I wonder how Sulvain will be reacting to all new Raziol things (the abs we are interested how he will react to the freakin abs). Raziol taking lead, Raziol being much calmer being center of attention maybe (not that he likes it now, but mask better and being use to a bit more. With this face and attitude he must be center of attention pretty often). We only saw glimpses of this confident charismatic Raziol back then (the way he reacted to Mel spilling ink at him was so satisfying djdjdjf) but what will Sulvain think of all of it, observing it now, I'm so excited

I’ve been so curious about how Raziol’s body is reacting to this immortality/beastly side he has. Last time we saw, he barely had control of himself before he composed and left Sul alone. I’m wondering what the years were like-trying to live normal a life after all that.

Raziol seems so worn down by his unnaturally long life in the last panel. 😔💔 He’s seen and experienced so much. I’m so excited to learn more about it. I suspect they’ll grow even closer than they were before. After all, Sulvain was really reluctant in the 17th century. He knew Raziol would age and die like Udaya had, and he was afraid to fall in love with him because he didn’t think he could withstand the pain of inevitably losing him. But now, however traumatic it was to get here, he doesn’t need to worry about Raziol’s mortality anymore. He’s finally met someone who can stay by his side through the centuries. 🥲 And as for Raziol, there was SO much he didn’t understand about Sulvain in the 1600s. Even if Sulvain had explained it all, he would have only understood on the surface. Now, he’s actually lived through some of what Sulvain has—the pain of immortality, of watching loved ones come into your life and eventually die, over and over. I think he’ll understand Sulvain’s motivations and fears much better than he ever could have before. 🥹💖 I’m just so excited to see where this goes!!!
