That's fully possible. I'm just noticing it in the frames above. Raziol has had a lot of time to try to get a handle on what's happened to him - and to be honest, if he hadn't brought the condition to a place he felt more comfortable with, I'd imagine he wouldn't be so chill hanging out around people and going back to school. My fingers are crossed.

Maybe he learned how to bite but not kill. He changed a lot but I can't imagine the emotional toll on such a lovely gentle guy killing people all the time. Unless he is losing his conscious every time and avoid thinking about it shcjdjf

I don't think it's type of a story where we talk about it 🤔 ofc it would be interesting but I don't think Raziol would want to know who he was. (Unless he searched for his own punishment) I guess what I want to say is mostly - the only genre with vampires I can think of where this is explored are thrillers and horrors. And Novae is Allegedly Not Tragedy (🤣) But I've read quite a few times and I read it right now again and I don't think we even got a glimpse of his face or any characteristic. And right now, 300 years ago, I don't know if that matters - i mean the guy would pass away anyway and lots of more characters already passed. This is ofc only my way of thinking of that 🤔

Are we ever going to find out who that guy was? It was a HUGE concern of mine way back when. Part of me hoped it wasn't someone important to tue story, but a random bystander who wasn't involved at all is just as bad.

Yes- those eyes could also be interpreted as a nod to smooth muscle cells, which play an important role in blood flow and whose contraction in involuntary - as involuntary as Raz’s actions during that point in time 💔

I'm now thinking that this story would be way different if Luc wouldn't be so full of himself. We don't know how long he was murdering with Kitty but at the same time, he probably saw a few cases of their victims standing up. I have a feeling that Kitty knew there is something up. She knew Raziol is different. But Luc had this "stupid humans" attitude that he missed his chance 🤔

I was thinking about this. Compared to what Sulvain has done, Raziol’s hunger-driven rampage pales in comparison. 😔 Raziol couldn’t help what he did, but Sulvain seems to have been lucid and aware (in that scene Hargrave described of him turning the freshly dead against their families.) I’m sure he had his reasons, but he clearly regrets it, all the same. I hope Sulvain will eventually share some of his own regrets. Maybe it will help Raziol on his journey to forgive himself. After all, if he can still love Sulvain despite the cruel things he’s done, surely he can learn to do the same for himself. 😢❤️

Poor Raziol. 😭 He was such a gentle and sensitive soul. The realization of what he’d done must have been unbearable. I hope Sulvain holds his hand or gives him a hug. Something to reassure him. I can’t imagine how difficult sharing all this must be. 😔💔

I was literally revisiting yesterday's page when this notification came in! What an amazing page. I feel so sorry for Raziol, he was a hapless victim in all this--they only wanted Huygens (not that they should have looked for him either). To think if he hadn't seen kitty at all, he might have been spared like Mael was and he would have never been on Hargrave's radar for his resistance to kitty's bite. But therein lies the story! Thank you so much for the pages this week (and every week)--I'm SO excited to see how their conversation continues to unfold!!

Kitty got in the water to finish him off. He said “hell no!” And fight ensued. Raz ran after they were distracted/incapacitated. Maybe waited in that taller tree from them before he came down and got another serving of ass-whooping in. Decided he was hungry and waited in this tree before farmer guy comes out to do farmer things. Snatched him up into the tree and left him there for later. Wakey wakey! Your life will never be the same.
