Oh Sulvain, I think they were benefitting from your presence as much as you were!! He has such hyper-independence. He always feels like he has to do it all and not be a burden to anyone. I wonder if that trauma stems from his master's murder, or his Mom's passing, or Udaya's, or all of the above. Maybe he believes he is somehow going to put someone in danger or even just inconvenience them by existing and having needs. 🥺
