First off! Hello new patrons and welcome! We hope you have been enjoying the content on here! π
It's been quite some time since our last newsletter! We hope you all are doing well! ππIt's raining peacefully right now, which is always my ideal writing weather. Our kitty Woo Woo is extra snuggly these days and the trees are flowering. So it's been nice ππ
These past few months have been extremely busy for us. We've got a major deadline coming up for our new GN HAVEN and the Fallen Giants! It's a middle-grade silk road inspired fantasy with a sci-fi twist. We'll have a better description for it once we get closer to the release date! (Probably 2022 or 2023)

We've had to push back the deadline for this project a few times because of health issues (now resolved) but also because we really over-estimated ourselves. Working on two very complicated projects at once has been a real challenge. We found out that we actually need a lot of help to accomplish all our goals. So it's been a year of learning to reach out for help as well as learning how to speed up our process.
(Learning how to go straight to inks from the storyboard is one of the things we learned how to do this year.)
We've fallen behind on Constellation tier rewards these past few months, but we are finally getting caught up. We've enlisted our friend's help for preparing the sticker sheets. She will also be helping us with production on more 2D merch! The stickers are looking very nice and we can't wait to show you all. We're so close to getting everything ready to send out and will have another update soon.. We're so sorry for the long wait Constellation patrons! We'll make it up to you all soon! Thanks so much for your patience! ππ
Because of our tight schedule we haven't opened up any new Constellation tiers yet, but once all the stickers and postcards come in we will make a post letting everyone know when they open up.
This month we'll have more early pages, at least one bonus page, an intimate sketch and we're planning on doing another Novae chats video about what hobbies we've picked up while we've all been stuck inside. (You can see our previous Novae Chats here.)
We just want to take a moment to thank you all for being so patient with us while we struggle with our deadlines. We want to be reliable people who can stick to their word but it can be so easy to overestimate what you can do in the time you're given. In case any of you struggle with this as well, just remember not to be too hard on yourselves. This is something we're still learning while trying to manage our time better. You don't know what you can do until you do it, sometimes that means don't overestimate your time, and sometimes that means you are capable of a lot more that you think. We've learned both of these lessons this year.
This update is a little all over the place but that's what's up these days! Just a lot of drawing and playing catch up. But we're really excited for whats to come~ Oh! We also got our second vaccine shot on Friday. Hope you all get the chance soon if you haven't already! It's a very liberating feeling! πβ¨

Thanks so much Leanna! ;__; πππYour words really warmed our hearts! You're absolutely right. We have not been able to keep the same lifestyle we did in college for many years now, and the consequences we experience have the potential to be very rough! But ever since last year we've been making sure to look after ourselves better. Been taking 1-2 days off every week and exercising and eating regularly and it's really helped both physically and mentally. Hope you are taking good care of yourself too! ππWe're so grateful to have you along on this journey with us! (Wishing you the best as well!π)

Soooo happy to hear Kitty Woo Woo and YOU TWO are doing well! Congratulations on getting your second vaccine shot! Take your time and definitely take care of your health... I know we're around the same age, but it really does seem the older we get, the less we can push it, and the less we SHOULD, or else the consequences we face could be pretty significant. So take your time, take your rest when you need it, and know we are very supportive and excited to see where your career goes and what journeys you'll let us be a part of. I am in awe of how many projects you're tackling at the same time, I hope you have time for yourselves too! Cannot wait for your future GNs, I really hope I manage to order them bc deliveries from abroad have been a mess for a while in my country... Let's pray it gets resolved by 2022!!! PS. Woo Woo is an absolute icon PPS. I hope you feel better health wise! As someone who also had a lot of health problems this past year, I relate!!! Health is the most important thing!
