Gahh! So close! I’m glad Sulvain was finally going to tell Raziol before being interrupted. I mean, Raz basically “proposed” before… and he said yes… so it’s kind of important to talk about, buddy. Not to mention the look of anguish on his face before he begins really portrays how painful it is for him to talk about. Impressive, as always, and I think all of us are anxiously awaiting this conversation on the edge of our seats. I’m really curious how it will play out, and can’t wait to learn more about Sulvain’s past and how Raziol will take this new information. However, I feel now the roles may be reversed and something might happen to Sulvain where he should have died but doesn’t. (Maybe Hargrave and/or the monster will attack somehow, or Cyrille or Mael will do something stupid.) Raz would see him bleeding golden blood everywhere and be like “WTF?” and Vivirette would need Raz’s help to patch him up or something. I don’t know- this is how my mind works, lol. I look for parallels. Anyway, I just read an interesting book called “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue,” and I’d highly recommend it. It’s an interesting take on the idea of immortality, as a woman who is immortal is instantly forgotten by anyone she meets. Her story also begins around the same time period in France as this story takes place. Just thought you may be interested.
