Personally, I prefer the prequels over the original trilogy. I think it's the inverse, in other words, the original trilogy aren't as good as the original trilogy. Ha, how about that? Funny how things work, isn't it?

I would have hated this movie if I had seen it as a kid. The "nobody believes you" trope is always frustrating. Sends a bad message to kids, too. I'll admit the production value was surprisingly decent, though. Some hilarious comments from the Jaboody boys, especially at the end.

They went way harder on the lore and FX/makeup/sets than they had to! Also I just realised her friend from the start was never seen again the whole movie after her crush got outed. Might have been nice to prove to her all the shit going down is real and had her help out, believing in her friend etc.

I was 7 when I first saw this and yeah this movie did scare me. Larry changing, the other boogeyman, all the turning heads. But I loved it. Most of the early DCOMs are a good time. And halloweentown is something you guys could maybe get some good laughs out of. It's not scary - more whimsical and scooby-doo ish, but a classic kids movie nonetheless, then its sequel amps up the stakes and production value.

I wasn't trying to be disrespectful but if we're talking about respect here how about respecting the votes of the patrons since we are the ones paying? I mean, yeah I could have worded it nicer but I wanted my point to come across. As for working hard? Yes, they do work hard when they're making parodies, skits and animations but doing a movie commentary which can be very funny in it's own right is still far easier and cheaper to do than actually creating more original content from scratch which the Jaboody boys use to do a hell of alot more than they do now!

Disney Channel Original Movies suck so bad that like the Twilight film series they're hardly worth even ripping on! Plus, this being a direct property of the "Disney", brand from The Walt Disney Company which is available on Disney+ I wouldn't be surprised if Disney ends up forcing them to take this down or end up getting slapped with one of their disproportionate and insanely strict copyright lawsuits!
