Wowee- just catching up, and now it’s the end of the chapter already? How time flies! I’m surprised that Sulvain is starting to act rashly, seemingly without thinking, putting his friends (and possibly Raziol) in further danger. I know he’s very emotional at the moment, but that’s the kind of behavior that is going to get them all in more trouble. I just want to smack some sense into him, as I am sure Vivi must want to do. It’s neat to see Adeline and Eve again- seems like quite the showdown is about to take place. Hopefully we learn more in the next chapter about what is going on with Raziol, what exactly Hargrave wants with him, why that other necromancer was looking for Huygens (and what happened to him), what is the story with the beast/vampires, and more about Sulvain’s past. I really REALLY want to learn about Udaya, how he lost his voice, just how powerful he really is, and so forth. So far it doesn’t seem like he can do very much, though I love all the little hints that he can do a lot more. It would be super cool if they end up working off each other’s abilities like they do in the Marvel movies to win… For example, I think Vivi should call some bugs to shrink Eve and Adeline like the books… and/or Sesam can start making an illusion that a few of her bugs look like a massive swarm going after them to scare them off. Or Sesam can make the ice wall look like it disappeared and that their magic isn’t working to mess with their heads, or that her ice crystals turn into actual mice that swarm her… and then Cyrille and Elouan can do something clever to capture them… You see what you guys are doing in my brain? Lol. Seriously though… I can’t wait for what comes next, as always. Hoping Sul and Raz find each other soon and can help each other out.

I know you guys need a break, but don't be gone too long! ;-) I cannot wait to read the next chapter....although, as everyone said, I am so nervous!!! I hope Raziol is ok during all of this. Is he alone in the field or did Hargrave capture him?

My absolute favorite detail is the house façade being a bit slanted and the windows slightly irregular - I lived decades in Nantes and Strasbourg, the old towns full of these old architectures "à colombages" and they are always so wonky ! ♥︎
