I’ve been away traveling for a while, and am only just catching up on this. I can’t believe how much I missed! I love the end of this comic, and seeing more of Raziol’s mom, but now I am even more curious about how Sulvain’s eating works… I kind of thought he’d come up with some kind of excuse to leave so he wouldn’t have to eat. It seems the others asked my questions already, such as if he can digest food if he wants, if he can still taste food, does it make him sick, etc. Raz’s dad is also great. I hope we get to learn more about his mom as well- like to start, does she have a name?

I was wondering how Sulvain was going to get out of eating the meal. I hope he is able to keep it down until he leaves there. Does he miss eating? I wonder, does he ever hold food or drink in his mouth just to taste it again? Another random thought, does his hair grow or is he stuck with the hairstyle he had when his master reanimated him?

It does make a good epilogue!! I always tear up when I reread Inhabitant. It’s such a gorgeous story about displacement and family. I love the details on this last page! Raz is adorably embarrassed, I love it. And I have been wondering FOREVER—what are the limitations on Sulvain eating??? Does he have to throw up so that it doesn’t sit in his stomach? Does he have stomach acid? If he can compel his body to do anything, can he compel it to digest food with some effort??? I’m so sorry, that can of worms is OPEN now. I simply need to know if Sulvain will someday get to try sour patch gummies. Can’t wait for the next comic 🥰
