First, this page is exquisite (and bonus pts for having to deal with consistency of Sulvain’s scar on each new page!) Second… if this river does make Sulvain forget, all the more reason Hargrave didn’t want to go himself and forget his ambitions - but it would be delicious if Sulvain came back forgetting even why he went and was like “Hargrave who? I’m not giving you anything! Oh, is that a dashing vampire creature over there!!” 😁💫
