Similar Messi swindle happened in America 10 years ago during a “Messi and friends” tour where Lionel was supposed to play an exhibition match with 21 of his most talented teammates. These teammates didn’t bother turning up due to “technical difficulties” so he ended up playing with college soccer players from a nearby university, one of which scored a bicycle kick during the game.
