Didn't think I'd make another poll that early, but I actually discovered her VERY recently, like 3 days ago, while I was looking into something completely different about the current TMNT. At first, I didn’t think much of her, but after digging a bit (actually spending 2 days searching and learning everything about her), I realized she has similar traits to my favorite type of female characters: tragic, badass, craving connection (and also a vixen!). I’d be really excited to make a comic about her and Raphael (who has ALWAYS been my favorite turtle since childhood. Pretty convenient!).
I already have a story between the two. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen an artist put her among their favorite characters. She doesn’t seem very well-known. Still, I really hope I’ll be able to do something with her, especially based on the current state of her story in the comics.

A bit of lore:
Alopex is a mutant arctic fox introduced in the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. Initially a skilled assassin for the Foot Clan, she was transformed and manipulated by Shredder to serve as one of his loyal warriors. However, after realizing the depth of his control and deceit, Alopex breaks away from the Foot Clan, seeking to reclaim her independence and find redemption.
A significant part of Alopex’s story involves her evolving relationship with Raphael, one of the Ninja Turtles. Though they start off as adversaries, their bond grows over time into a romantic connection. Both characters share a similar emotional intensity and struggle with their inner turmoil, which draws them closer. Raphael, known for his fierce temper and loyalty, finds a kindred spirit in Alopex, while she, in turn, begins to trust him as they navigate their personal battles together.

Considering what is currently going on in NYC at TMNT... it is going to be very interesting, should she choose to return NYC...

I am still hoping and waiting to see Alopex in the newest IDW release of TMNT comic, which continues where the previous series ended. For the sake of not spoiling anything, I am not going to discuss things further other than by saying this: I have a feeling (or I just hope) that Alopex and possibly Weasels will not just stand idle and ignore the situation of what is currently going on and brewing in NYC once and if they learn about it. So until then: Any content and comic of Alopex is fine by me.

I hope so. Their separation was really not satisfying. Everybody, including herself, understand why it happened, but there's no real reason to keep that separation going after the heat has passed.

Yeah, I guess we’ll just have to wait & see, but I’m betting their going to run into some trouble and have no choice but to return to NYC and reunite with Raphael and the others.

Yeah, the last time we saw them, they seemed followed by Leatherhead, implying there's indeed more to come. Funny enough, depending of who will draw her, it might show if it's a cute story or even more trouble for her, haha.

Yeah, I’m a huge fan of the 1990 movie trilogy, the 2007 movie, the 2011 comic series, the 2012 television series, their crossover with Batman both comics and their movie in 2019, along with their crossovers with Usagi Yojimbo, the Power Rangers, and the Ghost Busters, and their most recent movie they did in 2023. It’s true, Alopex has been through a lot, truly. I thought that they had some very interesting plot twists in their comic series that started around 2011 and everything that lead them to where they are now. I also found out recently that Alopex and the weasels are supposed to make a come back to their series.

I watched it when I was a kid in the 90s, but stopped following when they became costumes. Vaguely watched the 2003 series, but haven't really followed since, and even the comics plot don't interest me much (a bit too messy to my liking). When I found out about Alopex, I was actually wondering if they did something with Venus, since I thought she'd deserve a second chance after her questionable introduction in that show. And OH BOY, I didn't expect that reintroduction, huh! Talks about deconstruction of a character, haha! It's when I realized that that weird white fox (the art style during the Venus introduction wasn't the best for Alopex) was a girl AND Raphael's girlfriend, it was like "hold up, wait what? Raphael has a badass furry lady as a gf?! I have to learn more!" So now I know about her connection with Shredder, Kitsune, the BEAR, Angel, Zink, Zanna and Mushroom, ... And Raphel of course

So true, so true! So, just out of curiosity are you a fan of all things TMNT or do you just like the comics or their movies or any of their tv shows? It’s okay if you don’t want to answer, and I’m sorry if I’m getting too personal by asking. I’m just a huge TMNT fan myself, it’s the longest fandom I’ve been a part of, honestly, and I still love it to this day!

I've actually spent the last two days reading EVERYTHING about them. I might have missed few things in sub series, but I think I'm currently up to date! And same, I'd love to make them have finally some good and healthy quality time. They deserve it

I would love to read something more about Alopex & Raphael’s relationship, because the comics only let them be together for a little while, which I was very sad (and disappointed) about. I hope whatever it is you have planned for these two will live up to their reputations. I would also suggest reading a little more about them in that comic series, because it gets pretty wild!
