Whoops! Late post due to a date last night
🕑 Added 2025-05-23 20:11:50 +0000 UTCI swear that when I got back into making dailies I thought they were going to be a bit more lighthearted, but hey, we all experience ups 'n downs in life. Gotta go through the downs to get back up on top, I figure!
Over the last year I've really been trying to actively work through instinctive oversized reactions when they crop up and honestly? It's nice to see growth in that arena. I'm so much more able to recognize when certain reactions are unwarranted and shift mindsets in real-time. It rules! Admittedly I still have a long ways to go, seeing as how my anxieties got me BAD over the uncertainty of being left on read, but: we're all doin the best we can. All in time!
Lil Lake Fama cameo while bird watching. It's wild that that I happened to draw the very first time we hung out one of the first comics in my second book collection 7 years back. Time flies????
Also please help me manifest this new job. I've gone through 2 rounds of interviews and they loved me, but I think I still have another couple rounds to go.

Ahhh yeah navigating dating early on while figuring things out is a whole other game. You'll get there in time!

Sounds like you’re doing much better than me at the dating thing. I just passed the two year mark since my last breakup and don’t even have any prospects. Further complicated because this’ll be the first time I’ve tried dating since coming out as trans *and* I’m not 100% sure of my sexuality anymore. 😉
