HELP DESIGN A CHARACTER FOR BITE NIGHT 2
🕑 Added 2025-04-12 06:15:57 +0000 UTCBITE NIGHT 2 CHARACTER DESIGN TIME!!! I want your help in making a character that will appear in Bite Night 2! This character will forever be canon in the MyGrandfather Universe.
I’ve been working away a little bit on the Pre-Production of Bite Night 2. I’ve already got the concept of the game figured out and some characters planned. I’m going to write the story soon, but before then, I want to get your help designing a character that I can fit into the story of Bite Night 2.
This character can basically be anything that you guys come up with. I’ll have a series of posts allowing people to Brainstorm ideas, followed by polls to select the favorite. Also, depending on the category or if I’m feeling a little chaotic, I may have some of the categories selected randomly, maybe via marble run or something fun. Some of these votes may be running at the same time, so keep an eye out.
I’m hoping this will be a lot of fun for you guys to be a part of. There’s a lot of character information we have to go so we might move fairly fast. If you’ve got friends who are fans of Bite Night, now's a good time to convince them to join the Patreon for free to get their say in.
Below is a list of different characteristics I’d like to have answered. Then I’ll take the final product and weave it into Bite Night 2 seamlessly. This character can be something serious, like a businessman down on his luck because his wife left him and he’s trying to get that big sale to win her back, or a green-haired grandmother with peg legs who travels around the globe chewing tobacco and selling vintage rubber ducks. It’s up to you guys! I’m sure this won’t turn into some sort of abomination… probably.
Small Note: I want this character to be left unconnected to other characters in the universe, so unfortunately, no vamp’s hilly billy cousin. I may make a connection like this if I think it works well, but my overarching idea is you guys come up with something fun, and then I get to figure out how to fit that character in. Then, when Bite Night 2 comes out, you get to see that creation come to life, hopefully in a fun and unexpected way.

- young adult woman who’s entire goal is trying to find ways to distract you so she can steal the tip jar on the counter (she doesn’t realize that there’s only 53 cents in it). Even though she doesn’t seem broke at all and like an “average” person, she is for some reason very fixated on stealing by that tip jar. Maybe just for the rush of committing a crime. Black hair and wearing the ugliest jean jacket + jean pants combo you’ve ever seen. She keeps trying to act mysterious about her background and tries to bait you with asking her about it but when that doesn’t work (because you don’t care) she goes “OH ALRIGHT… ILL TELL YOU MY BACKSTORY..” and then it’s just something like “I ran away last night because my parents wanted me to get a job and I didn’t feel like it. But to be honest being on the run sucks and I might go home.” - guy who keeps interrupting you to over explain and “bestow his intellect” upon you for literally every single question you ask him whether it was actually a question or not (bonus if he always starts his inturruption with “UMMM. AKSHUALLY.” His dream is to get a girlfriend and he has no idea why he isn’t being swarmed with chicks like Britney anime when he’s just so smart and so generous to bestow his wisdom on people who literally didn’t ask. Needs the biggest nerd glasses and fit possible just to make it super funny - person who looks like they just got out of their shift and is so tired and just wants to go home after picking up some cigs and a questionable combination of other items and if literally anything plot advancing occurs with the person there, they just go “no thanks I’m going home” and leave. The outfit is clearly some kind of uniform from a minimum wage service job that’s dirty and disheveled. This persons dream is to somehow win the lottery and never work a day in their life again.
