So as of a few days ago, my pc has come across an issue that has made it difficult for me to work.
The issue in nature is pretty annoying. I receive a violent electric shock from my PC through my headphones every now and then while working. After receiving the shock my PC immediately turns off.
After talking to many people about it, everyone thinks it's related to my power supply, and that it's failing on me. So I've had to buy a new one which will take a few days to arrive. I also decided to give myself a little upgrade to increase render times by purchasing a better graphics card.
Due to how unstable my computer is, I won't be using it very much if not at all until I get my new parts as I am at risk of frying my entire setup if whatever static shock decides to go in the wrong direction.
All the parts should be here by Tuesday, there won't be much progress happening here till then.

That sounds stressful as hell. Sorry that this is happening to you. But it does sound like you are taking direct action. So you are dealing with it like a pro.

Even if the plugs are different, the basic principles should still be the same, for the most part.

Thx for trying to help but I'm from the UK. We don't have plugs like this, and it's unlikely I'm going to try and change it myself. And it's also unlikely that the plug is the issue.

Considering what you were describing what was happening in that tweet, hopefully your new PSU will solve the ground-fault issues. Anything with a metal chassis should be properly grounded, by code.
