Malevolent Planet 2D - First Playable Map Almost Finished
🕑 Added 2022-09-08 09:33:57 +0000 UTCHey! As mentioned in my previous post, I've been working on the ISA Garden map amongst other things.
The ISA Garden is almost finished (design-wise at least) and you can see a video of it at this link https://gfycat.com/GargantuanGloomyCrab
Here are some features in this map:
- Background dialogues for immersion. You walk around NPCs and they talk either to themselves, either amongst themselves, or to themselves. There's even a NPC that gossips about you behind your back and she'll play a role in the planned content for the ISA.
- Animated Background Elements.
- Plenty of room for side content, one has already been written and it just awaits my drawing PC to be fixed for the animation/scene.
I have to fix some things, especially the lighting but I think we're making fast progress. I'll be working on planning more side-content for the garden level so that when the drawing PC is fixed I'll only have to draw/animate and the time left until the new update with the garden map can be greatly shortened.
