Project-Next Dala Concepts
We've been dialing in on a concept that we really like for Dala, the succubus MC! Here are a few of the concepts for different things like wings, horns, etc, and a version of the combo that we like most at the bottom here.
Project-Next 3D Iteration
Here's a peek at some more iteration we've been doing on the character model! We've identified a few problem-poses that cause things like the armpits and elbows to bend in weird ways. Looking into using shape keys to adjust these. It turns out that getting a well-rigged model is a lot harder than it seems.
Project-Next Booba Physics
Here's a look at a quick and dirty implementation of boob physics! Atm they're a little too bouncy, but there's definitely something there that we can polish into something really realistic looking.

Replaced Klaus Patrol Scenes
The Klaus scenes during the Throb patrols have been reworked using five different animations to replace the static placeholder art!

In combat proper wings would be as useful as a second set of arms, hip wings would get in the way of most movement and be rendered useless. Vampire wings in the underworld movies is a good place to start. If you want something hotter and more gamy some of the old elderscrolls games had some amazing art for shoulder based wings. Miss those old art covers.

This all may be true, but Darkstalkers made succubus hip wings sexy, and somehow standard.

Succubus wings should be up near their shoulders. not coming out of their waist/hips. That design is not flight worthy and can't make internal body sense. Like angels or other creatures they use their chest and shoulder muscles to help move them. Gargoyles that old tv show from disney of all people had good wing design, but it can always be improved. The wing structure of a succubus is actually the same as a bats wing, which evolved from hands. (I've done a lot of research on this subject because of a book and a few games I've worked/contracted for. Please feel free to dm me for some info. I know it's a silly thing to focus on but some details are super important to me, which is why I do the work I do. lol.) Love the stuff.
