Tbh, It could use a bit more Polishing. Somehow that kinda looks Creepy but I do hope you give us the Option to keep the Old Sprite.

Michael Westen

Alright, I gotta be honest with you here, that sprite doesn't work at all. I see people lollygagging here in the Patreon comments pointing at this or that, but in truth its not any one specific thing. It's that its got a comically cartoonish feel--in a pornographic game. Its like Vils said in her heart-to-heart, this is a porn game first--And if you lose that you lose you lose the game. My suggestion: The new sprite is a good idea. But you've got to make the sprite look more natural. Realistic proportions/dimensions, and less "dumb" looking (You KNOW what I mean).

Simbolic30

I agree after seeing the defined looking torso in the gear shop. Was thinking that quality on sprites would be pretty cool. Even if it was just Jen that was altered.

Licorice Lain

The sprite could use some tweaking, but you guys are just dead set to keep making this game the best one out there, huh? ;)

I think one thing that makes the sprite look a little bit off is the walking animation. The speed isn't quite the same as the background so it almost makes it look like she is on skates or something. You guys are awesome though and I'm always excited each week to see what you have created!

PPC's4Life!

Little bit of Chicken leg going on with the sprite. Wide up top, really thin down below. I would like to see it even'd out just a smidge.

Seems like were getting some peitho route content, lets go!

Axe Thunderson

I actually liked the still concept art for the new Jenna sprite but I think this motion preview looks pretty weird. I sorta hoped the scale would be similar to the current sprites and remain a squat little package. Still loving the direction of development though! Keep up the good work!

Orient_Tiger

Walking sprite slide straigth into 'uncanny valley' for me. Somethig about way too thin arms and legs (from knee down) and larger than normal head

Thanks for the feedback!

Puu only joined us very recently, I think this is the first time we mention it on Patreon. Yeah the proportions of the overworld sprite don't work great when scaled this far down. We'll look into it c:

Anduo Games

Awww thanks! β™₯ We're not gonna stop! :D

The overall dimensions in the overland sprite don't quite fit - legs and arms "too thin" / head "too big" / waist (? part between chest and hips) "too thin" / or maybe the sprite is "too tall" and it would look better if it was a bit "squished"? I can't really decide - but it looks better than the wireframe mockup you shared earlier.

Trusty Patches

As always I continue to be impressed by your output every week! I also didn't realise that y'all were working with Puu until now and I gotta say, that's pretty hype. I'm enjoying seeing the progress of the sprite, though I find that the arms seem a bit too thin and the head a smudge too large. Though maybe I'm biased in that I preferred the first concept. Either way, everything looks great, and I'm already looking forward to the next report!

Can't wait to see what your team does next ive loved yea since I found yea and you keep create new things to keep on coming back for more keep it up πŸ‘πŸ‘

Anduo Games

Aww thanks!! ❀️ We'll iterate on it c:

Anduo Games

Thanks for the feedback! I think the sprite isn't working as well in this scale as it does when it covers more of the screen, aka. is displayed bigger. We'll see what we can do but for now the focus is back on CG's! c:

Anduo Games

Heya, thanks for the feedback! I think we're starting to get somewhere, but we still need to iterate even more.

Anduo Games

Do you mean the overworld sprite?

Anduo Games

It's rough honestly. A ton of work. Even for a rather small team like ours, we could fill a fultime position just for someone to keep things on track. As it stands, I have days where I do nothing but coordination of tasks, upcoming things, cross promo, tax stuff and so on. But it's also awesome to see the team grow with such talented and lovely members. Seeing the awesome output makes it totally worth it. I'd say it's important to get into a vc on at least a weekly basis, daily is better. Show off your awesome stuff and get live feedback. This is how a lot of ideas are born and how a lot of miscommunication is noticed and solved. On top of that, have something like a trello and have someone have the responcibility to keep it clean and actually up to date. It's so easy to let it slip, but having a healthy trello helps immensely. -Bear

I am absolute dumbfounded, you always impress more and more. To be honest, I like Jenna's sprite as is now, but I get the allure of improving and making it more fancy. Just don't go out the way of Icarus ja? Love ya.

shlong69er

You guys' ability to keep consistent progress is incredible. I'm taking the game dev class at my uni and it's quite the disaster in comparison and that made me realize how hard it is to keep a steady progress week after week . In your opinion, what are some important factors in achieve that?

relsomheim

Might just be my preference, but I feel the sprite could be a bit slimmer to match what she looks like in the other art. I'll also echo that the head could be a tad smaller as well to match the size of the sprite body.

Gahblaghle

I think the sprite's head needs to be shrank just a tad but other than that looks pretty alright. Her arms might need to be slightly thicker too

nightmere moon

This seems like it would a interesting sprite
