Hi Cheyenne, I hope you, Connor and Sophie are well and enjoying lots of Animal Crossing <3 I apologize if these questions have been asked before: 1) What are some of the pros and cons of starting a Patreon? Did you alreeady have a large following when you decided to launch yours? And at what point do you think it’s a good idea for a fellow illustrator to start one? 2) Has the quarantine and virus affected your business at all (in terms of sales)? 3) What are your thoughts about some artists criticizing other artists for posting “happy work” or cheerful things or encouraging people to think that “it will be okay”? I’ve seen several illustrators who have said that it’s incredibly insensitive to the people who are more badly affected by the virus, and reading those things has honestly affected me a lot. I feel a little weird now about posting my usual cute and happy things because I’m worried everyone is thinking I’m being disrespectful. I’d love to know your thoughts on it. And to end things on a slightly happier note: Here’s an easy tagalog phrase you can tell Connor. what are your tips on stay sane, productive, and not sad while self-isolation and social distancing soldiers on? i'm losing the end of my senior yr and a bit upset about it but trying to keep myself busy nonetheless!
