hi y'all!! here is this week's video!! i'm still waiting on approval from squarespace for it to go live, but i wanted to share with you guys :D
i'm planning on turning the digital painting i did for this month's printable into a fun collage piece! in this video, i'm painting the gal, and then i'm gonna paint and cut out some leaves, the bushes, some clouds, to layer them on top of one another. taryn knight does some really lovely floral collage pieces that made me want to try my hand at it! i've also learned that i do not have a decent xacto knife, so i may need to browsing online for one. i also really wanna get some pastels after seeing mona's (@ghostpuff) lovely work with them ! maybe i'll treat myself~

CHEYANNE! have you read the book version of howl’s moving castle?? It’s my absolute favorite book (the movie was adapted from it),, the movie follows the book until about 2/3s through, the book has some surprising and thrilling divergence! (there’s also two other books in world of howl!) Also,, I use twitch and would love to watch you stream!!

Such a lovely video. If you love whimsical, dark folktale inspired books I highly reccomend 'Uprooted' by Naomi Novik (one of my fave books of all time!) I cried my way through A Little Life and still think of those characters sometimes years later, they felt so real! 😭 On a side note, I just got Raymond in Animal Crossing (he was the first villager to appear at my campsite) and I was like ew! Who is this grumpy guy with a weird haircut, didn't know he was a fan favourite, maybe I will learn to love him haha 😹 Thank you for your videos and podcasts during this strange time, they are keeping me company while I work from my new home studio 😊
