hello!! another update~

The last two weeks have been..a Lot re: connor's health; he had a heart monitor for a couple days to check stuff out (results came back normal) and has been having heart palpitations and crazy low blood pressure (hands and feet turning blue and pale) seemingly out of the blue. The past few days have slowly been getting better, and he had a follow up appointment with his doc today: she suspects that this is all anxiety-based stuff. Just a build up of months of stress and unprocessed pandemic emotions that have culminated in some gnarly health issues. Please let this be a reminder that stress is literally poison for the body! Take care of yourself!!!!
That being said, he's on some new meds, he's got another week off work, and we're optimistic that with continued rest and these new meds he'll be feeling like a semblance of his old self before too long. :o)
The May tangerine rewards have been sat at my office for a while now, and I probably won't send them out till next week — I don't really have the space to do it at the house, and I want to wait until Connor is well enough where I can be out of the house for a few hours at a time. So! I'll probs be mailing them the last day of May/first day of June; I'm grateful for your patience <3
As far as my $5 strawbabies go, I haven't had much presence of mind for drawing lately (I've been playing a lot of Genshin and Ace Attorney to unwind), but I think I'll be able to get back to it this week so we can have a decently sized sketchbook tour. :3 And for my bluebell babes, I'll have another "draw-along" type video for ya on Friday/Saturday! And this one I think I'll be able to narrate over~
I'm also filming a new video today as I have a sponsorship deadline with Squarespace; I wasn't able to terminate my contract with them completely, but they've been so flexible and understanding. I've got 5 more videos with them over the course of the rest of the year, and I need to get my May one in by Wednesday, SO I'm gonna be filming a "procreate draw with me" today and editing it tomorrow. As I'm not really sure what to draw, I'm probably just gonna redraw an old piece of mine so I don't have to think too hard about it lolol and redraws are always such fun!!
Anywho!!! That's all from me. My new gaming PC is coming in soon, and I'm making a casual little vlog about that whole set-up which you can probably expect at the end of June. I'm also visiting Sweden this summer for 3 weeks to renew my Swedish passport and visit family, so I'll certainly have a vlog from that trip toooo hehe
I'm so grateful for y'all's patience and understanding, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swings of thins as connor gets on the mend <3

Take all the time you need, Chey. I don’t know if this helps any, but a few years ago I had a very similar situation to what Connor is going through (mine involved palpitations, fainting, constant dizziness and the worst migraines). Heart monitor, echocardiogram, the whole nine yards and everything came out normal—it was so frustrating not getting a clear answer. The two things that helped me the most: anti-anxiety medication and taking time off work. I hope he feels better soon, that stuff is tough on both the person going through it and their partner (idk what I would’ve done without my wife but can tell she was exhausted and worried too). we have a follow up with a cardiologist on the 8th, and POTS has come up in our googling, so I’ll suggest he bring it up! His symptoms do seem to be getting better with the anxiety meds tho, thankfully.

Well wishes to you and Connor! ♥️ As someone who's chronically ill, I wouldn't wish that kind of dodgy experience on anyone. Has he spoken with a cardiologist about the possibility of POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)? I have it, thanks to an infection as a child and symptoms sound kinda similar.
