I'd love your input on these icons!!

I'm in the midst of designing the icons for the $2 tier reward for this month, but I'm a bit stuck...this is my first time designing icons like this, and I can't decide if I want to do thicker black outlines for a more traditional "icon" look?? if that makes any sense, I'm thinking of the item icons from Paper Mario 2 as a specific inspiration point!! i mean look how well done these are:
So, I'm debating between the thicker black outline, or going with a colored outline...or maybe I should combine the two where the outer line is black, but any interior linework is colored. HRM please let me know what you think !!

yes, they'll work on any computer!! you may just need to look up a tutorial on changing windows icons :D

I love the one with the coloured outline, but I think that having the black outline makes it more visible! I love each of them really...

Hey! I think they're both really cute, but definition-wise I think the one with a more distinctive outline is better suited for an icon (it makes it stand out more). Also, the thicker darker outline (regardless of the color, notice how the mario icons' outline color sometimes vary but it's mostly from black to another dark color) would give your icons a more cohesive look overall :)

I think thick outline of any colour will help the icons stand out from people’s desktop screensavers. You could have a thick white outline almost like the “cutlines” around your stickers!

I think the black outline will help the icons pop a little more against the desktop. I do like the idea of outer lines black and interior linework colored though (like with the right strawberry icon).
