april freebie: my handwriting font!!
🕑 Added 2022-04-15 23:48:46 +0000 UTCHi friends!! Here it is: our April freebie, my handwriting font!! This process was surprisingly easy -- the font is a little crunchy around the edges (I should have used a different brush), but I still really like it? i think it's a bit charming hehe
I might give it another go, with a different brush, so the edges are a bit smoother. I did this through the website Calligraphr!! And if I get a Pro account, I can make more fonts, and also edit them a wee bit more hehe
I've attached the .otf and .ttf files below -- download one of them to your device, and I do believe that if you double click on the file it should automatically install! I also want to say that while this font doesn't have any liscenses on it yet, please do not use this for commercial or paid work -- it is for personal use only. YouTube videos and personal projects are totally fine, but don't use this for like, any big graphic design jobs or anything, ya know what I mean?
Also, I can definitely make a walkthrough of this process if y'all would like? There are lots of video tutorials out there for how to do this (this is the one I followed), but lemme know if you want my specific spin. ;o) I hope y'all enjoy this !!! Eee!!

Oooh absolutely!! That's totally fine! The "for personal use" basically encompasses anything that you won't be making money directly off of, hehe. Please do use it for your school assignments!!! What an honor!!

Hi Chey! Thank you so much for this! I'm a high school teacher, I wonder if I could use it to make documents for my students? It's not commercial use per se, but it's still a professional use so I wanted to ask first! I totally understand if you would prefer us using it only for personal things <3

I used the Narinder Pencil brush on Procreate! Then had the little "automatically clean up characters" check on when I brought them into Calligraphr :3
