what kinda apartment tours do you like?
🕑 Added 2023-03-31 19:52:22 +0000 UTCHello!!! So my mom is helping me reorganize my apartment -- tidying up, downsizing a bit, rearranging stuff so I have space to move in all the stuff from my studio (also, helping me clean, bless her heart <33)
I wanna finally film my apartment tour since it'll be all tidy and neat, but I wanna get some input from y'all. My two main questions are:
- 1) Do you want me to wait until after all my studio stuff is moved home, or do you want a tour of my apartment as it is now?
- 2) What style of home/apt tours do y'all like? I personally like it when people speak over b-roll, as opposed to walking around the house and speaking behind the camera, but I wanna know what you think!! Gimme your thoughts!!

I like the b-roll with voice over. I find the footage is often better that way too, as you can focus on getting nice shots not trying to point things out, etc. And I say after! I'd enjoying seeing it once you have it "as it will be"

unfortunately, my mom has done most of the organizing before i've woken up or while i've been at the studio ;; she wakes up at 6:30a and is a bit of a busybody. :') and i'm gonna be at the theatre this whole weekend, but i do have some footage of us doing errands together! and i might get to her to do a little walkthrough of the apt before she leaves <3

I'd say do an after if both isn't a reasonable option w your schedule! Definitely b-roll + voiceover!
