I lost basically all of last week to editing (I kept meeting some gnarly technical issues, and so the "rainy crochet with me" video took me 4 days longer than it should have sobs) and then I spent a lot of this past Monday doing planning and scoping on how exactly I'm gonna make my way through all these orders, and FINALLY yesterday I was able to make headway and send out the first 40 orders! It took me a long while to find my flow, so I'm hoping to make my way through 50-100 today. My plan was to get through 50 a day, which feels like a good balance between chugging along and also honoring my sweet little ADHD brain. Marian is here to help me a bit, but I'm actually finding it hard to delegate this packing ~flow~ just cause I'm dealing with so many different kinds of products. Some folks ordered so much stuff that none of my current envelope mailers fit the products (thank you for giving me this wonderful problem), so I had to panic order some box mailers off Amazon last night ;;
I also was having some major back pain yesterday so I decided to use my standing desk to actually pack the orders, but then it turns out that the crank to raise the desk was facing the wall cause I didn't think about that when I moved it up from the basement, and it only raises one side (I'm guessing something happened to the internal stuff during the studio move) so I had to shove up the other side manually and I absolutely had a little meltdown doing all that cause I just wanted to finally get started packing orders cause I'm already so behind and I happened to be filming that segment for my packing vlog and it was very embarrassing to capture it on camera. We'll see if any of that footage makes the final cut lmao
So!!! Just know that I am slowly slowly making my way through all 950 orders (sobs) -- I am eternally grateful for your patience and understanding. Everything will be sent out by the end of October, but ideally, it'll all be out by the 23rd-ish.
As far as little life things go:
- it was Ares' bday this past weekend!!! i'm still working on his present, but I'm really happy I got to make them a funfetti cake (their fave) <333 and it was a hit! look at that cross-section, I'm so proud of it uwu
- my hair is brown again!! in the sunlight, it actually looks similar to my natural tone, but it's definitely a shade or two darker which I don't mind~ I think it'll be good for winter :o) I do miss my pink hair a bit, but I think having a lower maintenance hair style will be good for me. I can only hope that strangers still think I'm cool 😔
- my evenings (so my free time) continue to be devoured by Baldur's Gate 3 -- I'm halfway through Act 3 in my first playthrough, but I just made two new player characters that I love. We've got Delilah, who is an urchin bg wild magic sorcerer whom I crafted specifically to romance Karlach, and Jamie, my dark urge criminal bard cowboy type who is gonna be Astarion's rough and tumble lover <333 can't decide I wanna make him a fighter too...I like the idea of Strength and Charisma being his highest stats lolol
- I've also been playing with mods and it's made the game SO fun and I spend like the first hour after I log on playing dress up with everyone
- I have discovered that DnD is really the perfect match for my art brain and my actor brain -- I get to really really enjoy the roleplaying and world immersion and getting lost in my character and their choices, while also being positively electrified by the visual flavor of it all and wanting to draw my charas in all their little scenarios. The next step is to...ya know....actually draw my characters.....gotta find the ever elusive line between super hot & cool and also WHIMSICAL

maybe it's just living outside of America but my estimated arrival time for any stickers/art prints/orders is always 1-3 months...and that does nothing to dampen my excitement. I waited 3 years to order from your shop and a few weeks of packing and postage delays isn't gonna stress me out at all. if you told me you were gonna post it in 2024, I'd still be keen for it to arrive, so take as long as you need!

Have no stress in packing! I personally love the waiting game of getting some goodies in the mail with my name on it; it's like a present from past me to future me! Also, GORGEOUS cake 😍 the cross-section and piping look phenomenal. Delilah and Jamie also look beautiful! Karlach and Astarion are so lucky 😉

For my coop play with my husband i made a wild magic sorcerer halfling named Patience who’s a badass with lots of scars and piercings and pink hair and i love her. I’m still early in the game so I’m not 100% sure how the wild magic surges work but I’m having lots of fun. I also have Nettle, my half drow druid who is a gentle soul and just wants everyone to get along.
