Ron Whitlatch

It is the realm spirit of the left expanse. So yes he is a supremacy

Sean C Jackson

There are two shards of creation and two splinters of oblivion in his soul, two of each for each cosmic core, and one of each for his to enhance his body cultivation as he wouldn't want Oblivian energy tainting his human body's life constitution.

John

Weren't the Draugr once referred to indirectly with some moniker or derision that insinuated they weren't always Draugr? I remember it was some higher leveled cultivator, and it made me think that maybe the Draugr were once a living race in a previous era

John

What is Zac likely referring to when he looks at the Seal of Fertile Earth and mentions reinforcements? Is he thinking of calling on the Earth child? Is the Earth Child supposed to be a Supremacy at this point and they're who Zac plans on fighting Mox? Can't wait to read everyone comment how Zac is surrounded by crazy allies and followers who've fully drank the Kool-aid. It sounds like he'll be quite exasperated by it all, and it'll only get worse

Michael Kawesa

So he needs just one more pair before Be’Zi can give me true dao of chaos?

NiceTryMate

This was mentioned right after he went through the atavism. He has one pair of pieces hovering around each of his two soul cores, one pair around both his two hearts to nurture them. The last two each nurture his draugr body and human body constitutions. I think that is right, but I might have gotten the distribution wrong. They are certainly being used to strengthen soul, heart and body cultivation tho. Maybe the core got a pair as well, instead of two pairs to the heart.

Stolen Hero

They are no longer shards. They are pieces. Full little spheres all 5 shards put together. They rest inside his quantum space, so both bodies can use them, however, I do believe he prefers to keep life and creation, and death and oblivion together. But they're in his cultivation,in his mental space he has two spheres that are like miniature solar systems, and the ball of creation and oblivion are their stars.

Owen Stevens

pretty sure the revived spirituality of the lake was only a temporary side affect of eoz defying time to impart an inheritance to zac. It wasn't a cure so much as it was a coincidental stopgap.

Jonas Lemke

You forgot to mention that Tavza acted as a Dao guardian during the double atavism, possibly saving his life and allowing him to come out of it with even more gains. That isn't something an enemy would do and Zac definitely feels a karmic debt is owed to her. I think with all things considered it would be wrong for Zac not to trust her or act hostile towards her

Palmer Evans

I believe so but they’re cut off from the larger Creation and Oblivion entities and their will completely subverted by the superior Daos of the Autarch wisps. But I think those remnants still exist in some form within Zac’s bodies. Could be wrong though

DrSubterfuge

Smug gloating about how you totally saw a thing everyone else missed is a bad look.

Michael Kawesa

Does Zac still have the shards of Oblivion and creation?

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Jeff McCulley

To be completely fair, they also need Zac and his bloodline to unlock whatever is in the depths of the Abyssal Lake—but that’s a different roadblock.

Jeff McCulley

Zac just needs to take ing a healthy dose of amoxicillin.

Jeff McCulley

No, what he’ll be annoyed about is that, just like reaching Hegemony first, Emily beat him to it.

Jeff McCulley

Heh. She literally told Zac, right to his face, how she knew so much. And you folks missed it? lol. To be completely fair, it sailed right past Zac, too. Next, I excused Zac’s confusion about Ogras and the Flag, in the Ogras hasn’t told him *everything*. Such as, for example, that what he’s trying to do isn’t remotely the same thing as what Mox was doing. The end of the chapter was indeed perfect, though. Can’t wait for Tavza to meet Carl.

Jeff McCulley

The Draugr already have a cure for their stagnation. It was the inspiration from the moment Eoz reached through time to Zac. That’s why the Shores were sealed for so long afterwards. Because everyone went to meditate on what they’d experienced. Even Catheya’s ancestor doubtless found new inspiration to continue his path.

DrSubterfuge

What an odd hill to take a stand on. Ogras traps creatures with multiple different origins into his physique. It's tangential at best to anything to do with the inverted peak. The through line for all of them have been the two daos he actually cultivates, which are Fantasy and Taji. Arguably his Grey World stuff shares some concepts with the inverted peak, and I think Zac might have even speculated at some point about how that might be why he was fated with the Hollow Court, but the explanation about how his flag shares a lot in common with Mox seems like a much better link. Which makes sense, since that's what the text just pointed to. The implication to me is that flag might be important for dealing with Mox. As for Zac giving up some secrets... meh. She still doesn't know exactly what's going on with the connection between Arcaz and Zac, and he still didn't actually confirm for her that she was right. He just stopped short of insisting that he couldn't speak for Arcaz. And while cultivating the void was something he wanted to hide, that's only the outer layer of the real secret, which is the Void Emperor bloodline. Plus, nominally she's an ally and she actually seems like she's slowly getting on his wavelength. I'm not sure how much she actually believes she stands a chance of getting the treasure before he does, considering how she genuinely believes in his ability to take on Mox.

Michael

The whole “seize life through death” thing the Primo said to Tavza is starting to make some more sense. The Draugr need a cure for their stagnation and I have a feeling it will be related to her creation energy. Also Ogras is definitely going to follow a similar path to Mox. I wonder if he’s with her now and that’s why he hasn’t come out of the domain?

Porter

I think you are right. Felt like a conversation with Catheya, though Tavza has proven herself in some ways

Ron Whitlatch

I wonder if that means there are other comparable scenarios? The Primo and the Heartlands have been around for a long time and have converted countless people and talents

Evan Therrien

The dark ages are holding back some monsters, so yeah more than likely Mox being one of them. Zac’s mother mentions it.

Omiso

I don't usually do this but have some complains about this Chapter. Ogras not cultivating the Inverted Peak is not strictly speaking true. His Ra'lashar heritage skirts in both the Inverted Peak (the spirit lock physique which is associated with warlocks which are more common in those who practice the Dao of the Inverted Peak) and the Solitary Peak (the Shadewar Flag which uses Unorthodox Practices that involve soul binding and sacrifice) plus he added Void to his Branch of the Grey World so chances are he'll add something else to his Branch of False Truth, upgrading his core is going to be pain when the time comes. Zac should've stick to his guns, my guess is that Tavza was fishing for information, pretending to know something she wasn't sure of in order to get Zac to admit it. Also Zac mentioning his Danger Sense was quite unparanoid of him, he even keep secrets from Ogras who at this point is his Dao Brother. One could blame the fact he lost contact with Ogras, Ventus and his Draugr Half plus the thought of going head on against Mox once he enters the Memory Domain to have affected him with some anxiety but he could've handled that conversation with Tavza better. As luck would have it Tavza seems to be an ally one that will learn quickly that following the Deviant Azura is a risky but rewarding path if you can survive all the trouble he gets into. Plus having another cultivator following the Path of Chaos will give Zac a person to whom bounce ideas regarding their paradoxical, messy Broken Gran Dao Peak. Lastly is time for him to throw Darsom and maybe Gelzryraynth under the bus and claim his Void abilities come from the inheritance of the first people. If he says he's the descendant of the Void Emperor the supremacies will ignore the Fifth Pillar and chase after him. Despite my ranting I did like this Chapter specially the end.

Tom C

TFTC! Zac will soon be causing chaos as only Zac can. I dunno if he will “kill a god” but I can see him being so damn irritating that Mox gets itself killed at the hands of the Limitless Empire just to escape Zac hahaha

Tom C

I sincerely hope Zac and Iz will get hitched! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

DrSubterfuge

I don't think we can say much about Mox is certain. Tavza gave a plausible explanation about what happened with her in the "real" timeline but it's all circumstantial. And I think it's doubtful that present Mox has any direct connection with what's going on. The event is extremely well isolated.

Porter

Wouldn't it be a little funny if Mox founded the Vigil to keep an eye on Void cultivators?

Porter

She said the other was a clone. She doesn't know they are truly 1.

Tartlet

Personally, I think the Mox in the trial IS Mox. Trying to jump through the dark ages and into the struggle for the pillar.

Orims

It was hilarious how Zac was trying to be all slick and Tavza was just rolling her eyes and saying" No we already know this, don't insult our intelligence" 🙄. Obviously we still don't know how much of it is her personal knowledge after getting blasted with chaos and how much of it is Imperial but it still was hilarious. Also it's fun to see her believe that Zac is actually capable of messing up Mox's plans as if he wasn't a piece of dust compared to her.

KOOLAID

Could be that she is stuck in the past. It said in some previous chapter that old monsters were stuck during the empires fall. In a Buddhist chapter I believe.

Alexander Dupree

Yes Zac, you are a terrible influence, you monster. Everyone just stares at you in horrified awe and just lets you do your thing.

Owen Stevens

She might try to nurture it and cultivate oblivion at the higher grades.

The Lost Pages

Right? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Palmer Evans

From what we’ve learned, Mox is certainly alive in the current time and probably outside the trial hidden next to the other old monsters, right?

Katerina

And he even needs to ask if he’s a bad influence, huh

Taylor Greenwell

This feels like the start of a really good arc. Also, we are finally getting answers on how things are going on the outside with the Undead Empire.

William Keith

TFTC!

Andrew

Thank you!

Jeff McCulley

“If I do, Arcaz shall immediately return with me to the shores” Now…there’s an interesting term. “Immediately”. Not, “as soon as the Event is over”. And Zac didn’t bother clarifying whether or not Tavza has a means to leave the Event early.

Lex Luther S

YESS zac you are a bad influence. God above Iz is already a little loony and she'll be even more crazy after she and zac get hitched. Well, quite interesting tavza had an inkling zac and arcaz were still one. Likely only confirmed after helping "Zac" from the tapestry of chaos. Still though, I wonder if this jeart of creation she has can mutate into something uniquely suited to her. Maybe even helping push her strength to the next lvl. Still, looking forward to Fridays chapter. Here's hoping we'll get to see a god slayed by Monday.

Ether Harwell

First

Jason Ruddy

Thanks for the chapter!

Ryan Pepp

Here we go!
